    This is funny, the year this video was published I attended my first rave. Now I'm trying to stop for good, mostly because my body is exhausted from the constant jetlag and alcohol/drug use. Tbh I feel like I've aged 15 years instead of 6. Besides, mental health has rarely been stable during these years... This is really hard to move on and to find something that can replace such intense moments

    Finally watching this year's vlogs! Everything looked incredible and I loved the breakfast sandwich recap! 😋 So freakin cool you got to interview Pasquale!! 😄 Didn't make it this year, but surprised my little sister with a ticket for 2025 so it will be the two of us and I'm so excited for her to experience it! 💙

    ALWAYS!!! This is me on day three at EDC every year. Orlando falls around my bday so its soooooooo bittersweet when day three starts at the hotel. My brain here and there thinks about it all day without being sad. Then when the closing set hits, i'm bawling lol

    I've never been, but I wanna go. I would have to go alone though so idk, I hate doing stuff alone. Plus I never see people with my body shape at music festivals so I would stick out like a big, fat sore thumb 😂😂

    Not sure Knock2 should be categorized as trap/dnb. Definitely more bass house as the majority of his tracks has a house groove/tempo but yes, his niche/fan base would definitely bleed into trap I can see that.

    4 years later and i think you were right about dnb getting a little bigger in the US. I noticed that during the pandemic, as most people were spending their time online, people were getting introduced to Internet-based EDM genres like Breakcore and Glitchcore, which I would say fall under DnB/Jungle as subgenres, just more intense and hardcore. Artists like Machine Girl, Sewerslvt, and Goreshit, as well as "nostalgic" set mixes on KZread involving liquid and atmospheric dnb from video games, became superrrrr popular over the pandemic. although I don't hear this kind of music much at festivals, raves, or other events, I have noticed that the general American rave community at least on the internet are definitely more aware of DnB, especially with bigger DJs including breakbeats and heavier drums in their songs :)

    This price point is highway robbery: especially considering the fact that Resorts World usually has affordable rates relative to most of the resorts around it (Wynn/Encore, Venetian/Palazzo, Fontainebleau). I really enjoy Resorts World and think it's one of the best resorts on the Strip between having one of the three best restaurant portfolios, one of the five best lounge portfolios, one of the better dayclubs and affordable rooms often for its Hilton and Conrad towers (Crockfords is another story)................but I would just stay there Sunday-Friday most any other time of the year for one-third or even one-fourth of the price of this. When it comes to resorts in close proximity to the other EDC shuttle stops: the STRAT, Sahara and Virgin are all great choices, and the Rio is in the midst of a massive resort-wide renovation by its new owner/operator Dreamscape since taking over from Caesars Entertainment in October of last year and will also be fantastic and good as new in no time. You could book a room Thursday-Monday at STRAT or Sahara especially for a fraction of the Hotel EDC pricetag and also still have a well-rounded resort experience.

    If you ever do Beyond Wonderland at the Gorge in Washington State bring tons of sunscreen, gallons of water, and ice. June in central Washington is hoooooooot. The day is boob sweat hot…lol. Then usually around 6-7 pm the wind starts ripping thru so temps will drop at night. Going from 100+ day then dropping to 60-70 at night feels cooold.

    I have random questions because I am preparing for my first camping festival: Where do you toss out full trash bags? Is there a process of what campers do when we have a full bag of trash? Does ANYONE do anything to keep valuables locked away when they aren't camping near their cars? I know I can lock my tent but do you guys do anything further than just hiding valuables within your suitcases?

  • @EmmaKapotes
    @EmmaKapotes25 күн бұрын

    I think every festival is different. The ones I've seen people just pile them in/near the trash cans, but I know some festivals have bigger trash or donation drop off areas. For tents, I'd say do the locks for sure and then try to keep anything really valuable on you inside the fest. I wouldn't leave wallet, sunglasses, jewelry, etc behind

    Best tip: DON'T OVERDO IT WITH THE BOOZE and/or DRUGS. I've had to leave both Countdown and a Desert Hearts event because I got too messed up to the point that I would've had a freakout if I didn't leave. (Don't mix booze and psychedelics!)
