i am at this intersection of my life with my career. I have two options which I love . one is in kinder teaching and the other is in cyber security. every video I watched about teaching so far on youtube was so negative and horrifying. they talk about underpaid , stressful, demanding aspects and very little pros. cyber security on the other hand has so many perks such as WFH and high pay! but as a graduate with both psychology ad criminology background ... I'm genuinely interested in teaching but I also have to think about bills and mortgage... after watching your video I sort of feel good. unlike others on YT you do have a life outside of work and it looks so peaceful! thanks for sharing as it actually gave me some hope that teaching might be a good choice.

@@ranminiwij6047 teaching is still a good career! There is SO much room for improvement in the education system, don’t get me wrong, but it is still fulfilling and possible IF you are very intentional about not bringing things home unless you have to and if you work for great admin!

In my fist school, I had 1 classroom, then the next school: 3 classrooms in 5 years. In my current school, I've moved 4 times in 5 years. They have promised I get to stay in a room this year (but I will trust it when I actually get the key back...) Also who doesn't love classroom setup?!?

I have had a question for so long. Watching americans answering questions about the world makes me sick. The only thing they know -in best cases- are the states in US. Asked about other countries they answer Africa and Asia. They can't name a country in Europe. They don't know the differences btw countries/ capitals/continents. How is this possible? Even adults? When and how are americans taught geography? Anything outside USA? It's maybe time to get your heads out of your *****?

I've been teaching for 17 years (15 yrs. of 2nd Grade and 2 yrs. of 3rd Grade) at the same school. I've taught in 3 different classrooms and have been in my current one for the past 4 years. My favorite thing is that it has a bathroom that we don't have to share. :)

I have one more week of school left, and I’m high school but watching your set ups have motivated me to clean cupboards. We are not allowed to leave anything out over summer. All floors, counters and tables must be cleared. Technology must be locked up. Any movable furniture has to be labeled with our room number. We aren’t allowed to start setting up until the last two weeks before labor day (first day is day after labor day)

Non teacher viewer here. Do most of your colleagues also do set up at the beginning of summer? Or do most wait until August? It seems smart to do it early so there's less work to cram in August.

It depends… The ones who are in the same room as the year before just have to reset furniture and things and they usually wait until pre-planning… I have a few other who also moved rooms and they are somewhere in the middle progress wise, kind of like me 😊🤷🏻♀️

The teachers at my school leave as soon as possible at the end of the year and no one comes back till August…even when we move rooms. 😁

I leave the minute we can in June, but I always go back a week or two early to get my classroom because I can't be trusted to focus on room set-up with other people in the building. Every teacher is different, for some not coming back until they have to is best for them, and for others, they like to get it done and not have to cram.

For the empty space in your craft cabinet you could get a two tiered lazy Suzan. Works well for glue and other bottles of things in a craft cabinet I find! Especially for higher up spaces.
