    do you think heat wrap is needed for the headers on the 22+ models?

  • @Justinackerman_
    @Justinackerman_20 сағат бұрын

    To be honest i still haven’t heat wrapped mine after all this time. I would definitely help out for sure, but it isn’t required when putting your headers on so totally up to you at the end of the day. Thanks so much for watching, I hope this could help answer your question 🤝💙

    Any problems with filling with 6qts of oil? i think ive seen u “slide” your car before. I know these cars are weird about right turns. If all is good i lll consider filling up with 6qts instead of the recomended 5.3

  • @Justinackerman_
    @Justinackerman_Күн бұрын

    I haven’t had a single issue with that, I’ve heard a lot of other people doing a similar thing as well. I do occasionally have my fun with it and slide it around, but I do daily drive the car and best on it pretty much everyday. So it burns through it pretty quickly, you don’t have to do 6 but I would recommend filling it up at least a little more than what they recommend.

    may be a dumb question just got my 2024 86 and am not really sure at what miles i should be getting an oil change? i got it with 15 miles on it.

  • @Justinackerman_

    I would say it all depends on how often you drive it and the type of conditions you drive it in. I usually like to change mine every 4-5k miles! I hope this could help answer your question, thanks so much for watching 🤝💙

It 100% will help the car breath and run better now with a brand new filter, and they are a reputable brand which I why I purchased one. • @Justinackerman_
    @Justinackerman_3 күн бұрын

    It’s funny you ask that because I was considering switching to 5W-30 for the oil this time. People have told me to switch to that due to the warmer weather and harder driving conditions I put my car through. However I’ve always used 0W-20 in the car so I decided just to stick with it again for this oil change. If I would switch the weight it would end up being 5w-30 for sure! I hope this could help answer your question, thanks so much for watching 🤝💙

    Nice video ! Do you think the gr86 has enough power to pass people over on the highway ? Coming from a 5.0 and m240i I’ve been very interested in this car due to its looks, reliability, and hundreds of great reviews. I don’t mind going down hp as long as I can have a decently quick and fun daily.

  • @Justinackerman_
    @Justinackerman_4 күн бұрын

    Haha surprising you say that because with the current mods I have installed on my car, I can keep up with a S550 Mustang GT. Once we get in the higher gears they tend to start pulling out away from me, but once the car is on E85 I could definitely see it being fast enough to beat a GT in a race for sure. As far as passing cars on the highway and stuff, it has no problem doing so. People really underestimate these cars, they are truly great machines. Thanks for watching the video, I would highly suggest you looking into getting one. Thanks so much for watching the video 🤝💙
