I feel your pain with all Lightning's fur everywhere!! Our fluffy girl is the same way. I swear to god the fur just materializes out of thin air. I will clean it all up and turn around and there is all new fur just everywhere. :D
Wish I had a magic wand 🤗😂 Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Work hard play hard then crack on 😂😂😂 Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Great job, Phil. ❤
Maybe you could grow mushrooms in the tunnels
Fold the mirrors in.
Great job with the gravel - it’s one thing off the long list but a big improvement
I am surprised you got any gravel at all I thought Lalacelle cleaned France out ;) I thought you had more than one entrance to Bailleuil is the other blocked by said fallen tree? well done Phil :) say hello to Lightning :) what if you use a rake mechanism like Amaury from Castle Ten Berghe has take all the weeds out at one time and fill pot holes. It doesn't solve all maintenance ills but some and you are doing great Phil.
Don’t hurt your back!
Oh the lake was part of that other place? that is amazing.
You are good friends and helping each other out makes jobs easier and makes the friendship stronger. xx
Hi Phil. Gareth Roberts Neant Sur yvel 56430. Like to submit to you an idea? Gardener!
The land around the back was sold in early 2023 for 60,000 and equated to just over 50 hectares.
Could you fill the gaps between the cobbles with coloured resin? Would that be an easier application than grout?
Ligthening definitely has a cheeky personality , lol . I love how he resonds to you holding up his side of the conversation . Thank you , Phil for the great videos .
Great job Phil, I know you were glad to get that rock down, it was nice of Billy to loan you his transit. Kathy USA 🇺🇸
Be careful with your back🤗
Great job there Phil... looks much better. Great to have good friends...
Isn't it amazing that you don't need to plant weeds every year, they just grow?
*said with absolute silliness. What you didn’t hand pick each bit of gravel! 😂. Your list is getting smaller. It’s looking fantastic!
Just spray the weeds like you did in the another area vinegars, salt and water
👋👍❤️
You bunch of crazies! I laughed way too hard at that.
What a beautiful pep talk!
Hi Phil If I may suggest you already have one Range Rover registered & in good working condition keep it up to spec & really focus on getting your own transit with a tipper for the chateau and other projects. It does not have to be perfect as you have the skill to bring up to spec. Then you can start to upgrade your landscaping equipment. The suggestion that you should let Yannis stay in an apartment for help in the chateau/gardens is also a good one but Billy does seem to keep him pretty busy.
Yannis will still need paying, and Phil has said before he does not want anyone else living there.
Great having Billy’s Transit on hand. Lovely how you both help each other out if you can 🙌
Good video ! SUGGESTION: I keep my drive WEED FREE this way. In a 5 litre sprayer, put 4 liters of cheap white vinaigar, add 200 grams of cheap table salt. Let the salt disolve well. Then add 100 ml of cheap dish soap. There you go, spray the weeds. Results in 24-48 hours if no rain. As I understand it, the vinaigar and salt kill the plant AND roots. The soap helps the concoction drip and evaporate slowly. I think it's better than burning since it also targets the roots. Cheers from Quebec.
Phil I love your channel. As said before you put a smile on my face and a skip in my step as I watch you be a one man band. Crack On!
Explain to people that it's an ecosystem and you don't just go tearing apart an ecosystem filling it in etcetera as it will not function correctly. Example my grandparents lived on a creek they decided to put a sewer pipe across and fill in the creek and killed all the wildlife all the silk all the problems from their section of the creek that was filled in and redreged caused problems for the whole entire Creek for many many miles all the way to the Willamette River in Milwaukee, Or.
Personally, I think it’s wonderful that you chateau owners are all friends, and can borrow, and lend each other things in times of need. Wish there was more of that in the world. ❤
There is a lot more of it in the world, at least where I live in Australia.
Your chateau has a whole 'nother floor below it in terms of what you believe to be tunnels. At least a whole 'nother 9-12 of your building is underground and could be dug up. Those aren't tunnels, it's a buried floor from the Mud Flood. Research the Mud Flood and follow Tartaria.
That load of gravel made an huge difference. Looks so much better👍
I have never seen that dolly before. What an amazing piece of kit.
Looking good!
Hip, hip, hooray another job marked off the list of to do things. Great job Phil, you have gotten the cooler moved, gravel down and spread, and a mower at the the shop. Counting down the items on the list before you go traveling. Have a great day
I do love a reticulated truck. Makes things so much easier. The front of the house is looking better already. Yes, thank you Billy. Great work Phil. May you all please take care and stay safe oh and yes hugs and kisses to Lightening. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
Dear Phil. Subscribed today. Billy sent me. Warmest Wishes. Pam
Boiling water or simple chlorine bleach (which breaks down to water in sunlight) will kill the moss and weeds on the cobbles and not hurt the wild/moat life, works quicker than vinegar and goes deeper than scorching
I do love a road trip. Well done guy's. Can I please ask where yannis is from originally. X
Great friends help one another out ❤
Phil, another trick I have seen to help spread the gravel is to not dump all the gravel at once. Keep driving slowly as the gravel flows from the back. It probably works better when you have a larger load.
Awesome 😊😊😊😊
Phil, You Can’t Do Everything Yourself, Have You Thought About Workaways 👌👍👏👏👏
Considering you do all the work around your home, find as many ways to do things better and quicker 🎉
Good evening Phil, can you tell me the mixture of the weed killer you used a while ago please. TIA.
I love the barter system, especially between friends!
Great job Phil 💪👏Another job ticked off. Wonderful to have good friends 😍😘
