  Actually, I believe Iguro is the hardest to befriend. Tomioka stated he "feels sad when iguro says means things about him, " and Tomioka does get to befriend Shinazugawa after the war. I'm pretty sure Tomioka looks up to Shinazugawa as well, considering he thinks so lowly of himself and Shinazugawa is so strong.
