Another verse difficult to understand. Some even believe Mary gave birth to some other children after the birth of Jesus Christ. I agree with you that we should emphasize the message: we are co-heirs, co-relations, of Jesus Christ only when we do the Will of God as opposed to the biological accident that defines our earthly relationship. Thank you once more for helping us, your followers, to weather through some of the blurred terrains in the Holy Bible.

"Ite Missa Est." This is where we get the word "Mass." The translation is "It Is Sent." Not, we are sent, but it is sent. The original meaning of this declaration is the Event on the Altar, Jesus's Life, Death, Resurrection, and Ascension along with our intentions is now sent to the Father. If you listen to the Eucharistic Prayers during Mass the priest, several time mentions this. Now, we've changed the focus off of Christ and put it on us. It's not the Sacrifice is sent, but we are sent. It certainly can be both, but I've never heard anyone address it that way. Something to consider.

Thank you so much for such a well balanced comment. The Sacred Tradition handed over to us is so rich than we cannot say all that needs to be said in a single homily. Such a well informed comment like yours is a gift to me and my audience. Please, keep them coming. God bless you.
