My great grandfather passed away two years ago, he was 95 years old and he was present during the surrender in Tokyo Harbor, I miss him every day, but God I’m glad that I got to meet him for the years that I was alive during his life

My great uncle served in the war on the European front if I remember right. He passed away years ago and my immediate family went to meet other extended family for his military funeral which was something very important to experience.

Uncle was born in 1935. He's still alive to this day and the stories he's told about the WW2 from a *National PoV* is... thrilling to listen to. Our Nation did.. some questionable things back than. However he's a heavy drinker sadly. So he has a tendency to skip parts of his - *Storytelling*
