Omo can be used at the beginning of a conversation when speaking to a close friend informally… just like saying (my friend, or damn) It can also be used to express shock (that’s where the omg! comes in I guess) It can also be used to express stress… as in: omo! I don taya (meaning… mehn! I’m tired or exhausted)
