  man i love watchign vids of people fighting ships in vettes. its just the best sounding ship in the game imho. that engine spool up when you just normally speed up without boost is just hnnng.

  As much as this is garbage in solo fights, it really does have some impressive hull numbers and isnt awful as a sponge in wing fights. that said a sponge isnt really needed in wing fights just because the damage can already be spread out among the participants.

  Would bi-weave shields work? Less power, heat, and weight then, more speed?

  The short answer is no. Large ships go prismatics because you can reboot and regen to 50% shields, which ends ups being significantly faster than biweaves. The larger hit pool also means they won't go down as quickly to begin with. Combined with banks, prismatics are better in nearly every circumstance. In ax specifically, you just take too much damage in the big ships since the playstyle is basically my guns are bigger than yours.

  That makes sense. Appreciate the explanation. I've yet to fight interceptor class Thargoids to-date since I don't have guardian weapons of any kind yet. That said, I do enjoy killing scouts with my Vulture with AX multicannons.

  Huh... i do have bi.weaves on my corvette, which is otherwise a hull tank. Mostly for lazt combat in hasrez. Should i take part in powerplay to get prismatics then?@@antanis

  Thargoids took the first aggressive step because they deemed humanity's presence on their seed planets a threat. In return we released biochemical agents on them and nearly wiped out their species from known space. Guardian attempts at communication failed, and we haven't even made attempts to communicate properly. No defensive posture was taken, just aggression. Thargoids in Elite Dangerous started out with a neutral faction rep and used to not attack players until threatened. Much like Starship Troopers, Humanity took the largest and most drastic steps towards alien life because they're "lesser" to us. We don't even understand what or how Thargoids really are and yet we kill them for pleasure. We don't even know what kind of a conscience they have, of they're a hive, how long they live.

  This games combat is basically an Ace Combat like but much slower, and it is pretty great as that.

  I can handle a Cyclops solo more often than not but I'm not quite ready to try moving up to Basilisk. Unlike the finesse shown here, my combat style is more like a pitbull.

  By chasing them. After the swarm flies through your ship, it will continue flying in a straight line for approximately 1.8-2 km. If you chase the swarm, it will continue flying in a straight line, grouped tightly together, so long as it remains under 2 km away from your ship. That way it's very easy to kill.

  @@Beaverling Interesting. Is this also doable with a medium ship? Although I assume you'd have to separate the interceptor from it first.

  @@ECiriachi Yes, it's doable, i can even find a link to a video if you want, but it's completely unnecessary. Reverski method is much better for medium ships.

  Либо у повреждённый мегашипов (системы Gree или Deciat), либо в гарантированных сигнала в Одиссее. Пока только так, ФД в курсе проблемы и работают вместе с пилотами AXI над её решением.

  I have so much love for the anaconda, is a good realiable and more than capable ship, some people say the krait mkII is the best for xeno hunting but the conda is just something unique, it has provided me with victory in the most harsh situations a combat pilot can endure
