Meanwhile a Police Car in Slough can be driven while the driver is swigging a mouthful of Tea/coffee while pulling away at a set of Traffic lights ignoring a car parked half way on the pavement and on double yellow lines on said junction

I'd of seen my arse, especially after just being woken up, what a bunch of fucking knobheads, interrupting someones daily rest is way more dangerous than the parking, which I believe is lawful anyway, seems to be at least 10m from the junction, the white line isn't a parking restriction and it's a one way street so flow of traffic isn't really affected. To be fair MOST Motorway services now NEED VAST improvement and expansion, the facilities for truck drivers are poor. The majority of TRUCK PARKING AREAS are simply not BIG ENOUGH......

I know it was years ago now but that was utterly stupid of the cops to do that. You were parked legally, the white line just marks the edge of the carriageway, and it's important to sleep if tired, as you were doing at the time, not drive on. The little fascists would rather have you drive on and risk safety of yourself and others than do their jobs properly. And quite frankly, a cop who looks at that road and thinks it's a motorway should not be driving. I was writing as I was watching, now got to the knocking part - oh my gosh, they are such immature children, they shouldn't even be security guards, they are clearly too childish to handle authority. They should have been arrested for public order offences. Also you've got much more restrain than me - I'd be emptying water on his head.

The moment that uniform started causing the resting driver alarm and distress is when the driver should have put in a 999 call. Laying a paper trail that would have to have been investigated. No wonder the citizens of the UK have lost trust in them. They will never get our trust back with behaviour like this. To hell with them.

Just a point of law so the police expect you to break the law when you're out of hours. Secondly if you'd had a major accident you could have claimed you didn't get to sleep because the police deliberately kept you awake and you have the evidence to prove it.
