  You and everyone else. I personally rarely parry in Souls games, just something about the feel of the delayed shield parrys I don't like. Only From games I love the parry in are Bloodborne and Sekiro.

  How'd u get there at 50? XD Are you speedrunning the game? Lol. You can obviousely do it lower if you're a really good player, but I've heard that on a casual playthrough you shuld be at least bl70 for Gehrman.

I've seen many video clips where people defeat Gehrman, which is the opposite of my situation xD. I also watched your video from Bloodborne, and after watching it, I got a clear picture that you are much higher level than I am xD. Want to add each other on PS? :D"

  After finishing the game you get access to "gauntlet of strength" within which you fight 3 to 4 bosses and at the end you fight inner version of Genichiro, Isshin and Owl. There's 4 gauntlets, last is clearly for your own saitisfaction, where you fight all bosses one after another.

  niiice, good to know im not the only one that does these "no healing" challenges, it's a lot less serious than actually no hitting a boss lol small tip for this firecracker move at 0:51 though: you /can/ dodge through it like you're doing, but a more reliable way to deal with it actually is to deflect the shoulder check + the swipe, and then just immediately hold r1 for a charged attack. works every time and is a LOT less awkward to time

  Ty! lol yeah I'm not much of a challenge runner, I was just casually playing through ng+ and didn't plan on doing anything specific when I started the fight. I feel like I'm pretty damn close to doing it no damage tho, it's one of my favorites in the game so I may give that a try someday! Also thanks for the tip, so does the charged attack cancel his firecrackers then?

  @@The_Kid_Kaylen aw yee it’s a really good fight. i didn’t like it at first cause it felt like a lot but the more i do it, the better it feels it doesn’t cancel the firecrackers, but it lunges you forward out of their range, and cancels the *swipe* he does that’s synced up with the explosion. also reliably gets you some health damage, sometimes if you dodge to the side and then hit him, he’ll like insta-180 and deflect it

  Wdym, the final seed is after this boss, this is true Monk in Fountainhead. And if you explore everything and kill all the minibosses up to this point including the Hirata memories and shinobi overrun Ashina castle you should have 17-18 vitality at this point.

  @@The_Kid_Kaylen one thing to consider is in phase one after his jumping attack the red kanji move will 99% be a thrust so get ready to use your mikiri in phase two it's going to be a sweep attack

  Oh that's good to know, I thought the thrust and sweep were interchangable like the single Geni phase before SS which is probably why I was hesitating on the mikkiris. Thanks!

  Here’s a tip: When she jumps onto a thread and she’s about to throw out an unblockable use your shuriken. Does pretty decent posture damage and will give you a free 1-2 hits

  Aggression and confidence is key, you show to much hesitation on the attack and too little confidence in your defense keeping that bar up there full is key and it may take 5-10 “deaths” to learn move sets but once you do go all in. Lastly deflecting won’t allow your posture to break even if it’s full unless you fumble the block

  Yeah, Souls habits are hard to shake lol. I know I've got some stuff to work on but I did beat the game once already including Owl father, DoH, and did SS Isshin with no prosthetic or combat arts so I think I'm doing alright lol. Appreciate the advice though.

  They're "remnants", similar to player messages is DS. Afaik they were added a while after release in an update.

  Ty! Cool design and I get they were going fo something unique, but it ended up just feeling like Tree of Men 2.0 and was really frustrating. Not a fan of platforming in my boss fights tbh lol.

  Nor me, it is ok in games with very fast and responsive movement like hollow knight but S&S games tend to very closely resemble the slow methodical movements of the soulsborne series so really shouldn't be trying to force players into hardcore platforming

  I cheesed the shit out of this boss on NG++ with Mjolnir handle + live pupppet Axe and Aegis. Dude couldn't get to me, everything is blocked and axe made a number on his face. One tap.
