    I haven’t had any issues yet but it’s too early for me. I’ve only had it for around 2 months. But what you mentioned are common between the 450X and the Apex, so you can look out for any of the recent 450s that are having such problems.

  • @Volatile42

    The rates vary from place to place as the host can include a profit on top of the electricity cost. At my place they are hosted by the apartment owners’ association and are profit-free. It costs ₹6 per kWh, so a 4 hour charge on the Ather would cost around ₹15-20.

    The Rizta and 450 (X or Apex) are very different, so it would very much depend on what you are looking for. The 450 is performance oriented while the Rizta is more comfort and practicality oriented. I would not be happy with the performance of the Rizta as the Apex itself is just about okay for me. But the Rizta is a better all-rounder scooter.

    No real issues worth mentioning. It's mostly the same as the 450X. One thing is there is no day/white mode in the UI. It's always in dark mode. You would need to decide if it's right for you based on your riding history and preferences. Mainly - how important is performance to you?

    @volatile42 see sir for me performance is important. 1.And as u said there is no white light mode but is this enough visible when riding below sunlight? Then it's fine for me 2.in ather 450x many have complained about tht there is a problem with the scooty rear mudguard is too small nd in rainy season the water reaches the pillion it's an issue and is this issue continues with the apex? 3. And also many reported the belt issue tht during rainy season it makes a lot of noice nd dust accumilates and in apex they covered the belt so still any issues about tht? 4.how r the breaks good enough as people said piche ka tyre skid krta hai high speed pe nd few customers feel breaks are not tht good in high speeds wt is ur point of view on tht? 5.in bootspace is there is a charger as if I charge my phone will it be like fast charging or decent charging or completely slow charging??? 6.

  • @Volatile42
    @Volatile42Ай бұрын

    It’s not like that here. You can keep doing 80-90+. After a while the performance drops a little and acceleration will be a little slower but you can still do 80+. In the city you will hardly ever notice. I often touch 90-100 during my commute and also spend a good amount of time at 60-70 as you can see. Will try to show you another ride with just Warp+.

  • @Volatile42
    @Volatile42Ай бұрын

    @tanishjain6146 the motor is physically the same but they are pushing more current into it to produce more power. So much so that it overheats if pushed hard and then the performance drops slightly. With the 450X they played it safe and didn’t utilise the full potential of the motor. 70km range is not true. Even with some fast riding you can easily get 110km. The regen control with the throttle is also something I really appreciate. The price difference was only around 20k for me compared to the 450X, and it was worth it for me. Won’t be for everybody of course and that’s fine.

    Yes, will try to do a highway run. More than the speed I would like to see how long it can sustain peak Warp+ performance and the impact on the range. Even in the city it reaches 100km/h quite easily (I have done 101 km/h) but you do notice performance dropping a little soon after. But it still does Sport mode like performance. Off-road, not sure about that 😅

    The Versys is a darn fine, if tall, machine. It will serve you well as you get more seat time on it. Kind of sad to see the RE gone, but garage and wallet space is always a limiting factor. Watching you navigate through urban Indian traffic still scares the paint off my gas tank, you got to have some stones to do that no doubt. Cheers!

    Great hearing from you after such a long time! Yes, the Versys is nearly perfect in every way, except for the height, combined with the weight. That’s something I overlooked when decided on it. Don’t find it to be a problem while riding solo, but with a passenger and luggage, it can get scary. Makes me feel like I’m getting old and losing my riding confidence. 😀

  • @Volatile42
    @Volatile42Ай бұрын

    You mean the right lane? I used to really hate it and still do sometimes, but it is so common in India, you just get used to it. And they have their. reasons too. The left lane is often occupied by very slow vehicles or parked vehicles and it becomes very difficult for trucks to go around them, so they just stick to the right lane.

    Been looking at this case for my z650rs and good to see this case looks nice on a retro style of bike, the rack is nicer than the one available for my bike. You said the capacity is large, would you say too large? Because i am still choosing between this one or the slightly smaller Journey 40 case.

  • @Volatile42
    @Volatile428 ай бұрын

    Hey, really sorry to reply so late. It really depends on what you intend to carry in it and how it looks on your bike. It’s not too big in terms of its capacity. I like the fact that it can hold 2 helmets when I have to park the bike and go somewhere. If you carry too few things though, you will need to find ways to hold them down (like my bungee net) or they’ll get tossed around and get noisy. But that’s about three same with any large case. I currently use a Givi 58 litre case on my Versys. How it looks is another things to think about though. It almost looks a little too big on the Interceptor but the twin exhaust pipes at the back help make up for it. The Z650 looks similar but might be a little smaller. If you can’t get hold of a case to try on, see if you can use a measuring tape and judge the dimensions and if it might be too big on your bike.
