hey it's very informative, so, if we were to adjust the coil pressure drop to 20ft instead of 50ft and the circuit setter to 10ft, while reducing the remaining 30ft in the pump's IE to 90ft, do you think this would make the system more efficient?

Jesus... What the f***?! That is most definitely some home-owner DIY shit right there. If a tech told me that's how he fixed a compressor, I would slap the shit out of him.
That's a machine gune right there. They can easily load bullets on the suction line when needed without brazing. The discharge port shows the signs of bullet that tried to escape, not following the pipe route to hit the target. They should've just called a qualified tech.
