  I just found your channel. Thanks for the tip on using a remote switch for turning the lights on and off. I've been collecting for years and my village has grown. It's a pain crawling under the display to hit the off button on each electrical strip. I'm adding this to my supply list.

  Thanks Peggy. No, I only do villages at Christmas time. However, my 2023 village was more summer because I didn’t add any snow at all.

  Oh okay, I see. I didn’t understand what you were saying. It’s not about organizing, it’s that those fences were in my accessory bin. I thought I pulled the correct bin out but I didn’t and I didn’t feel like going and getting the other accessory and figurine bins out. They are behind other heavy bins. 🤣😂😀. What I could really use is a larger storage closet, I have to much Christmas village stuff. 😂

  Do you mean for this platform in particular or how I set up my village? I can add holes to any platform to run the cords through. I set up my lights differently in my village. I do have a set up video in 2022 that shows it.

  I love these videos! So inspiring! I purchased some of the tables and chairs that you used last year, but painted them white. With my Cricut I made sticker for the top that was a candy swirl in red! It was perfect for the front of my cocoa stand!

  Thanks! I have had those trees since my very first Christmas village. I haven’t used them in a while because they are very large and take up a lot of space. They are great as a background tree though. I bought those from Michael’s 8 years ago.

  Love all your ideas,...I have basement filled with styrofoam since i started making your mountains....Never throw any away !!! One question if u can...alot of my styrofaom is the little balls that cover the yard when i cut...can u tell me what kind of styrofoam u use to get the clean cuts.....Thanks again cant wait to start again !!!!!

  Hello, did you get my previous response to this comment? Try cutting with a hot knife and you will get a clean cut no matter what type of styrofoam you use.

  @@MiriamsManner no didnt see previous one ....but i do have hot needle knife ..it bends when i cut thru large foam soooo ....i guess i need to invest in the knife too....ok will order knife an see if no more tiny snow foam balls cover me an yard !!!!! Thanks !!!!

  Very nice! Those blips threw me off for a minute! 😂 Love the bridges. Since I use the Dickens pieces, I could probably fit 12 to 15, depending on the layout, since the are smaller. 🎄🎄

  Hey Miriam, do you feel it needs a coat of plaster of Paris over the bandage first before painting, just to hide the bandage texture? Iv used spray expanding foam but the painting all the nooks and crannies is a nightmare. Thought adding the bandage first would make it easier for painting. Thanks.

  Hey Peter, I did add liquid plaster of paris over the plaster strips to hide the holes before painting. You must have missed that part in the video.
