My top three would be Julie, Robin and Chante. I love the unique way Julie incorporated the non traditional storefronts from Temu. Robin should do a tutorial on platforms and stone walk paths and I loved Chante's village sidewalks with the curved edges and colorful brick roadways. Yvette should also do a tutorial on platform building yours were amazing! Each shelf of Amy's village was it's own vignette. I loved it! Everyone did a great job! The water features and attention to detail was awesome! Since I am only a second year villager I would love some tutorials from more experienced villagers. Again great job everyone!!

I think every one of the villages had something about them that caught my eye! I do think, however, that each person is going to be drawn to the ones that follows their own preferences, or style. Because I tend to prefer Victorian villages, I was drawn to Rebecca's and Julie's, though the artistry and skill level on Monica's was highly impressive!

1st Place = Robin! There were so many things I loved about your village! The brick arches, fences, ALL THE DETAILS, the playground, water fall and circus were great! The only thing that could have made it better was a longer video of it! 2nd Place= Yvette/Linda Chan Yvette, I loved your layout the best, the different foam carving techniques for your walkways, stairs and walls. The way all your trees were placed *chefs kiss* Linda, there is just something about Christmas in the City that gives me the warm fuzzies❤ I loved your central park, the details on the streets and buildings like billboards and wreaths, I LOVED the parade and the bay/Bridge with Lady Liberty was beautiful 3rd Place: Julie! Can I please come and live in your house??? Preferably in the room that your village is in??? I would love to see a longer video of yours well to truly capture it all! Your shopping district was so pretty I thought it was a European village when I first saw it. What did you use for the bricks? That pond with the fish made my jaw drop! My honorable mentions: Chad, that National Lampoons set has made me so jealous! I loved your parade and all the Dept. 56 houses/accessories you have Lisa, I loved how you tiered your village and used so many different types of flowers and trees! I found myself pausing the video to get a closer look! Chante, your neighborhood blew me away! Each and every house was so unique! My favorite scenes were the drive in and the backyard hot tub 😊 Rebecca, your waterfall that streamed under the bridge was so pretty! You painted it so well it gave a great illusion of depth. I also loved your backdrop! Amy, BOOKSHELVES! I need like a 2 min video of each shelf! You created so many detail jam packed scenes!

Thank you for the kind comments! The bricks were small mother of pearl tiles I found on the Internet .5 inch square each. Took forever to glue them all down! Thanks for noticing. BTW, the streets (grey gravel look,) is Kitty litter!

All of these are awesome. And everyone should so proud. Congratulations to all entries. With villaging there is no losers. There was something about everyone's I liked. Love when the bases are the same color as what it's standing on. Sidewalks, streets, intersections so realistic. Loved the one with the driveways. I pray you are all proud of yourselves. We all start somewhere. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." If you like it, then, it's is!!!!

Oh my! Such incredible craftsmanship, time, love in them all. Having met Rebecca and Julie, I was so happy to see their beautiful and inspiring work! Linda Chan’s Christmas in the city was awesome. The artistry in Robin’s and Monica’s just amazed me! They were all so tight and cohesive! Wow! I just wish we all lived close and I could spend time looking carefully at all the details! I can’t imagine how you could narrow it down to three. I think, for me, I’d put Rebecca first, Linda second, and oh my goodness! Julie, Monica and Robin tied for third. I’m so inspired, I want to get mine back out and work on it!

Art, talent, creativity, craftsmanship, genius. I don't think what I just saw could be summarized better. When you are driven by passion, the real one, the visceral one, nothing is impossible. You have put Miriam in front of an almost insurmountable dilemma. It is very difficult to remain objective in front of all these works of art. Thank you all for existing, you enrich the world. 1. Robin 2. Linda 3. Yvette Hawtin

Wow, what talent everyone has. Barbara, I love your water and waterfalls. It was so wonderfully crafted! Your brick work was amazing.Julie, what a wonderful village. I love the dollhouse look, so you can see inside. And your pond is amazing. I am so glad I got to meet both of you last summer. There is something wonderful and unexpected about each one, from the pocket parks, stairs and brick work. The NY village was amazing, Linda! Top three is very difficult. I would have to see the criteria to make an accurate determination. Robin is definitely in the top 3, especially with his waterfall and that natural bridge the trolley runs over! Everyone had beautifully designed villages with unique features in each one. The ponds, rivers and waterfalls were all wonderful. Everyone has clearly been paying attention to Miriam. It's clear that everyone who entered has a real passion for villaging. Congratulations to whomever the winners are!! I'll get back to working on my 2024 platforms now!

Hey Miriam, greetings from Rancho de Vegas. Love your work and your channel. I am living my childhood dream of constructing a Christmas village. You have inspired me from a six building display to one that now features 25 Lemax buildings and many more accessories. I have even built my own rustic nativity manger and a reindeer stable. My question to you is for a recommendation on the hot wire set you use? I need to get one and try my hand at it.
