This is not how "mirroring" is being explained in that book. Mirroring, based on chris voss book is repeating the last 1-3 words the person said in the form of a question, to make them elaborate more about the last thing they said to you.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:42 *🧬 Both genes and environment contribute to our development, underscoring the dynamic interplay between nature and nurture throughout life.* 01:22 *🧠 Mindset profoundly influences life outcomes, where a growth mindset can lead to personal fulfillment and success, while a fixed mindset may result in stagnation and dissatisfaction.* 02:19 *🌱 Embracing a growth mindset involves believing that personal qualities can be developed through effort and learning, contrary to the static view of a fixed mindset.* 03:56 *🚀 In a growth mindset, success is about learning and improvement, focusing on development rather than proving oneself.* 04:20 *💬 People with a growth mindset view relationships as dynamic and improvable through effort and communication, contrasting with the fixed mindset view of static traits.* 06:14 *🕵️♂️ Identifying the origin of one's mindset is crucial for adopting a growth-oriented approach, recognizing influences from family, teachers, or personal experiences.* 07:50 *🕒 Transforming one’s mindset requires time and patience, emphasizing that significant change is a gradual process rather than an instantaneous shift.* 09:13 *🎁 Actively working on mindset improvement is a valuable investment in oneself, promising profound long-term benefits and personal growth.* Made with HARPA AI

So many of us are using social media as a source of information and I believe it drives the sense of loathing about the future of our country and our civilization. Things have always been bad and there’s always been a lot to worry about but people didn’t get that constant algorithmic Prompting to worry the way we all do now. My biggest goal is to try to figure out how to start winding down in the early afternoon rather than crash landing right before bed like landing on an aircraft carrier. I want to have it be like I am Commercial airliner on a gradual descentmiles from the airport. So for me that means no Twitter or news after 11 AM and if something really big has sure I can check that but otherwise I’m not going to.

Slight nitpick --- the maths isn't mathing. Unless American currency is just absurdly different or I'm not getting the grammar. The penny doubles in value every 31 days. I'll be rounding 31 days to a month for the sake of simplicity. I also had to search to try and understand American currency more. Apparently pennies and cents are the same over there. Us Brits just call them "pennies". It would take a month to have 2 pennies. The video says that the friend has 16 in just 5 days. I don't understand how that works. In another month, the 2 pennies become 4. In another month, the 4 pennies become 16.
