Days Gone is In the 2024 Steam Summer Sale for £9.99, well worth it!
just bought this game last night, i had no idea anything like this existed before my friend recommended i look it up on steam. i have only about 5 hours invested right now, but i will certainly be playing more of it. so far i have been a fan of the gameplay and the story
I have been playing games for a couple of decades and at some point I started to lose my interest in gaming. I picked up Day's Gone during the holidays and it completely refeshed my interest in gaming. I got up in the morning, booted my PS5 and had an absolute blast playing this game. I had to pull myself away from the console to get anything done that holiday. Astonishing to me that this game had such a bad reception, it's one of the best games I've played in years.

Way too fn hard. I can get to phase 2 no problem but then it's gameover. This is where the game crosses that line from challenging fun to a complete chore

This game really helped me through covid when i was isolated away from family and friends.
I think it’s a sin for any “souls like” to not have in-depth character creation. It’s so easy to take “inspirations” from the best and put your own twist on it. Not having str, dex, ext plus magic I think this one is a pass for me. I’d love to play but it just doesn’t offer enough for my time lol, I guess to put it bluntly. I’d rather boot up bloodborne or lies of P and do a new character build/playthrough.

I didn’t even know this was available for ps4. I’m about to buy a ps4 because the ps5 is still ti pricey for me so I’m looking forward to playing. Been over a year since I’ve had a console. Been playing RuneScape on my old laptop lol.
Just played thru both games, and Hellpoint wins easily. I'd give mortal shell about a 6/10, and hellpoint 8.5 /10.

Who's here in 2024? I beat Nioh 2 when it came out, but with all the games to try I had some fun, but I'm back to traverse the depths, thinking why play anything else

Quality = Mortal Shell Quantity = Hellpoint. Personally I really dig the concept of Hellpoint, but there’s something simple about Mortal Shell. But if I could either have a longer Mortal Shell or a greatly polished Hellpoint, I gotta go with the latter.
This game is the BEST open world Zombie Apocalypse Survival game every... the story is actually very good and cinematic. No game comes close to this in it's genre.

Are the special effects on divine items generally worse than the stats on ethereal items even if they were the same level? cuz I'd like to have mix some divine graces into my builds but don't know if crafting them is worth or should I just farm them

I got a refound when it first came out. It was way too predictable and failed with trigger points that was all it contained in the start... Very desipointing after 3 hours, maybe it would have been better futher in, but it was so predictable and lacking to start with, maybe still i have no idea?
I tried like hell to get into this game there are certain parts that I really enjoy the exploration, the story is decent enough but I cannot stand the leveling system especially with weapons it was a confusing mess that felt underpowered trying to keep the weapons and ship somewhere near my characters level felt more like a chore then fun. I liked valhalla a lot more. at least you didn't have a million crap weapons to sift through and I didn't feel like I had to constantly worry about gathering resources to keep my weapons and ship up to par.
Got it yesterday for my PS5 is on sale currently at $15.99 🙏🏻 totally worth that price!!

Only thing is that they dont have hidden assassin blade but it still the best AC 💯
Hell yes Days Gone is worth it. Easily in my top 5 all time favorite games. Here's to hoping that Sony eventually comes to its senses and Days Gone 2 gets greenlit.
