  It's entirely RNG where shadowfire drops, you just have to hope it lands where you want it and chuck water at the shadowfire in positions you don't like.

  I use to play this game day and night. My name was Ryoukao I think. I had the best of best gear. Sad the game doesn’t get new updates. Would definitely be nostalgic playing though. I was a huge PvP player and did tournaments with the best

  Yeah it's unfortunate the game doesn't get updates anymore. However we're lucky to at least still have that game all these years.

  It's a damn shame that the stuff with minerals got reworked - the idea of letting the player base influence the gate generation is super cool, and its replacement with the extremely grindy Battle Sprite leveling sucks.

  Book grinding can definitely take awhile. The Book of Dark Rituals alone is a .4% drop chance which is only exacerbated by the Black Kat's 1.11% spawn chance.

  The game is so dead now that this is actually useful. Most materials aren’t sold anymore, so now newer players have to grind it out. It’s an exponential downfall for this sadly.

  This is a very unique take on things! It's funny, but I've never really appreciated the sound design of SK until this video, it's so atmospheric and crunchy, not to mention the styling of the accompanying soundtracks with it.

  is it worth getting back into spiral knights? I played during the iconic era of them introducing a TF2 hat for it, as well as having the exclusive marketplace items, like the golden wolver gear, and metal sonic gear.

  I would say that if you haven't already go ahead and play through the story. The story will give a wide variety of content including content unique to it as well. That there is probably the best condensed package worth enjoying in SK. Once you've experience that and some of the other side content you'll likely hit a point of everything the game has to offer. As much as I love Spiral Knights and as unique as it is, I won't advocate for people to continue playing past the story content if they don't want to since it will eventually become repetitive or grindy without friends or radical changes to playstyle. Otherwise unless you're interested in joining SK's community, you can shelf the game at this point.

  By loadout, do you mean equipment or cosmetics? If you mean equipment, it's shown after killing Sovereign Slime as it is required to be shown for this to be a valid run on the Spiral Knight leaderboards on Speedrun.com.

  I'm no legal expert but given the nature of the original video, this would likely constitute as aggravated battery of a government official. I would believe this would be a felony. I would assume either third or second degree.
