Weapons and attacks that can hit multiple enemies are your primary method of dealing with the treasure mimic.

@@Moonwave44 the boss doesn't actually heal himself. The tentacles however do respawn after a period of time which is what I assume you're talking about. While the peppermint repeater can work, other weapons like the Wintergrave and charge attacks from the Archeron will work better because they ignore enemy collision. That's something I probably should've said in my first comment.
