Not bought this yet, but I think the lack of cutscenes is acceptable, I'd rather they get the fundamentals down and then add these later. Appreciate your honest feedback, it seems this game isn't worth buying yet. Which is a shame. How does the AI and boxing mechanics compare to older fight nights? I actually see the lack of minigames as a bonus. These were less annoying in fight night, however in UFC they really did my head in. Spent more time training than fighting and the minigames were boring and at times frustrating. Quite frankly, I hope they don't add these in. I'd rather they focus on other aspects of the game. Minigames are rarely done well, and they're staler than my unwashed toenail. I'd rather see something at least mildly innovative that can impact your career. i.e. you get in a streetfight, if you lose the fight, your stats go down a bit for your next fight.

Training minigames are fun and immersive the first few times, but get tedious and repetitive extremely quickly. Undisputed got it right by making training automated.

Why is it all these game companies are struggling to put out decent games? The calibre has dropped so badly across most genres. We've been waiting for a boxing game for so so long and it still looks so clunky, not to mention a bare basic career mode, no cutscenes, no financial management mode, training, cut scenes, press conference for title fights etc... How can the gameplay videos from 2 years ago look better then what we're going to be given. I hope they pull their finger out in the next four months but its highly unlikely. I Was going to pre-order the game but i'll wait till its released to see the reviews for console. 🥲

Unfortunately for the sake of Pre-sales.. They've alluded to improvements, but they won't be showcasing those improvements until launch, shady in my opinion. I would wait a few days after full release, ill have a full honest review be then, and youll be able to see latest steam reviews.

What a sad excuse for a boxing game. What I don't understand, is if the game is so bad and lack luster...why the fuck is it 80 damn dollars?!? Haha like the fuck is that? To be honest I could care less about any of his review of this game mainly because I’ve been waiting so long for a boxing game. I don’t care and approve it on the next one but for this one I will take what I can get. And I believe this game has been in development a little over four years! But that is a small company trying to compete with electronic arts who had the boxing framework for years with knockout king from since I was a kid on Sega playing this game with Muhammad Ali and rocky Marciano I’m gonna embarrass you!!!

Now do I think based off some of your views the Contant may be underwhelming yes but do I expect a small studio to bet 1000 on their first venture out in this market that would be a no! I never expected it to be great when I first seen it! If this was being produced by EA it would be disappointing! But no one else is out there getting the license for boxers anymore and wanting to pay those guys to be in video games! 🎮 Not to mention boxing fans is a dwindling and aging fan base! So will I pay for this game that you consider to be over priced to support the studio With my future outlook set for a much better part two of the title. Yes and I’m hoping to continue to see this boxing franchise grow! I have Sunken more money into Destiny two and Madden Football 🏈 where the satisfaction was always lacking as well. But this is a little unfair to ask a small company. And critique them so hard about a game that really should’ve been released on a PS4 I don’t expect it to be a smooth. But I look forward to them recouping some income and to make a big jump on the second title of Undisputed. I even played that lame ass rocky game looking for a fix two player boxing game where I did not have to pull out my PS3 for fight night!!

The money they made from Early access sales, they spent on a studio, as well as staff related to social media.. In others words salesmen. Anyone else would invest a fraction of that money into competent developers who could further enhance the game. Additionally they've recieved funds of over 20 million in the past 6 months.. They've hired undergraduates to continue to code the game... Context matters, not to mention this review is indepth to the point that I clarify not only what is underwhelming, but Why it is overwhelming. With all the support SCI have required.. For the past 2 years, they've ignored 70% of community feedback, and focused their efforts on sales and investors. If you wish to blindly support that because you assume they're a small studio which requires support.. Go ahead 👍🏽

I wanna get this game but I don’t wanna get this game lol.Its only $26 on cdkey but I don’t see the bonus content like on the consoles,And that’s fine but something telling me this game gonna be a different game on consoles and they gonna leave pc players behind even though they all was beta testers for years lol.I could be wrong but that money being spent for next gen technology and they got top crews on it knowing it’s a huge money bag for consoles.EA sports should of never abandoned fight night .We arnt getting allot of NEW* good games anymore.Ea could have turned up with College football and Fight Night .. They need to have an IQ test validation before people write comments so sure of themselves. Look at a diagram of the position of the bladder, then consider the position relative to the belly button.

@@ClaimerUncut Your IQ must be in single digits, or you are just being disingenuous just to support the bros, the top of Usyk's trunks were in line with his belly button, so the placement of Dubois' punch is right in the bladder area, it's clearly visible in the photo he hit just above the cup, that's a bladder shot. Also your photoshopped fist inside the glove is stupidly angled it doesn't event match the way a hand would fit inside the glove. Also the line that you incorrectly drew is at the hip level and yet at least 1/3 of the glove is below your own line! The belt line is drawn in the space between the end of the hip and the belly button, so you extremely wrong.

It's really not what I was hoping it'll be..at least if that's what the finished game will be like.. i mean I'll still buy it and all but I know I'll be disappointed.. I've been waiting too long for a new boxing game, and those guys cut waaay to many corners making this one.. I guess they spent most of their budget on getting all these boxers in it..
