I would be shocked if they had a story with voiced acted characters, like in fight night. I’m thinking it will be a text base, choose your answer boxes. And what happened to customizing our boxers ? Like changing Gloves, Robes and license fighters attributes.

Honestly they're using Unity or Unreal engine.. Plus they have motion capture technology in office and access to a ton of steel City fighters.. Even the most basic cutscenes in between fights I think they could pull off. Yes good point, I'll have to revisit their old videos to compare what's on offer now

This man is the most on point criticism of the game I've ever heard

The A.I in Fight Night Champion gasses itself out throwing punches at thin air when you're halfway across the ring. The only way to try to fix that is with sliders (max stamina for the CPU and minimum punch output as well as maxed out offensive and defensive awareness), but even then, unless you're facing a counter puncher A.I opponent, they'll be down to 40% in about 6 rounds into the fight. Undisputed is already an improvement over that in it's current state, and improvements to the A.I are still surely yet to come.

I just want to compliment you for everything you said and also the genius idea of staying private in a creative way.

Right now the AI fighting like a crackhead

I think they need to release the game and make it better on undisputed 2 .lots of em have changed since then like Ryan Garcia Tattoos and more I don’t think they can catch up.

The ai in quick fight constantly sidesteps which is nauseating and difficult to strike (amateur difficulty)

This is dope. I look forward to it, but honestly it will only create a bigger problem. The created boxers will not have the same flaws the real boxers have. I'll be the first to say it. They need to implement a penalty system for stats with created boxers. Speed & cardio penalizes power. Power & speed penalizes cardio. All power penalizes speed and cardio... i hope they do something like that to balance out that system. Otherwise everyone will have a 100 ranked long arm fighter with insane speed online and the game will die

That's a good point, and it's like he said. Steel City will end up getting a ton of feedback and end up overwhelmed by the bugs since they keep releasing broken mechanics, where it seems no one thinks deeply about anything.

@@Shawnjames21 utilizing the aforementioned way of doing it, one can't get max stats unless there's years of play, so it would only be the consistent long time players. Personally as long as it's a fun fight I don't mind the spammers. Usually go at least 6 rounds with people now as it is.

They would activate this feature with a broken update on the game play ,still not sure if I'm going to play with the way it is 🤔🤔

Exactly why would i play career mode when the AI is trash?

I just hate that all these companies rush to online but not a Solid solo experience then move on to online gameplay but nope

Thats all that is needed in a fighting game. good mechanics. they spend millions on licensing fighters for people to simp on, and the game usually ends up sucking.

It's the blind leading the blind. Everything in this career mode will get boring real fast. You'll want to just get on with the fight which will suck since the AI is Broken. Not one person other than the original Game creator Ash, has a clue what they're doing. I watched the announcement video earlier, and the guy or KZreadr hosting looks half asleep.

Apparently they showcased the campaign at a gaming event the other day, which was before the UFC 5 trailer, so I think it's been in the plans. The Career mode does seem incomplete even for a beta at this stage though.

It is now fall and uh… career mode still isn’t here

I don't like it, but you need something to exit the pocket otherwise you get spammed by overpowered hooks

@@Shawnjames21 You know what i mean, pulling back has a delay, also you're more susceptable to getting dazed using side and backsteps. Again I don't like it, but when you're playing against guys with 300 - 25 records, they usually spam with an OP fighter when you enter

@JamVamDam I understand. I just don't have that problem. There are only 2 problems I have. Backstep straight and body uppercuts.. a new problem I found is with "broken" Larry holmes... they have his movement speed way too high. Same with tyson fury.. just stupid, small mistakes riddled within the game

Was so happy when i initially heard about this game and couldn’t wait to get it. That’s completely faded. Gameplay looks weak and no console release in sight. UFC 5 here we come.

Screw the story mode, focus on career mode instead.Old boxing fans should remember Fight Night round 2 career mode.If you pick someone like Rocky Marciano you start at 1947 and if you stick around long enough you can see how in 50s Sonny Liston is rising through the rankings around 60s you could see Mohammad’s Alis name rising

@@ClaimerUncut One of the best career modes out there,depending on the training you do during career boxers body type changes.And as you get older it’s becomes harder to keep yourself in shape and eventually you can become fat.I remember myself playing as a fat Ali and trying hard to defend my world title

They finished the character creation mode before the game was released. 😂 So outside of that the career mode is what they been working on. All things I don't care about. EA need to get that Fight night game out early 2024

They getting desperate. Saw the hype for UFC 4 and Ali and Tyson, then start talking about Career Mode and CAF when they know they won't be releasing it soon.

i refuse to use mods but i understand to compete you have level the playing field, not touched the game since july, career mode and create a fighter will keep you entertained for a short while however the ai is trash@@ClaimerUncut
