Can you combine an EF teleconverter with the Canon RF/EF adapter? Also, is there any utility in setting something like the R6 Mark II to "crop mode", and losing the megapixels to get some more reach?

@duade, I've seen the video and I'm still between the 200-800 and the 100-500. Seen so many reviews and videos on both lenses, but I really don't know. I like being at a distance, on the other hand I want to learn and start getting closer to the birds. Let me ask you something if you could only choose one of these setups, which one would you choose? R6ii + 200-800mm or R7 + 100-500mm?

Hmm, makes me curious, I'm on point where my next update is gonna be either 200-800 or 100-500 (I currently shoot with 100-400). I was discussing this topic with another wildlife photographer who did a lot of testing between these two and came into conclusion that even when taken @500 mm and cropped to equal size the 100-500 gets same result than 200-800 in most conditions. However in some conditions 100-500 beats the 200-800. Now this video makes me believe that 200-800 would be more suitable to my needs, since I mostly photograph birds and reach is very much of importance to me. Problem is that I cant test them both pre-purchase :( I suppose weather sealing on 100-500 is better?
