I mostly agreed with you until you started shitting on BO1's excellent campaign, I really don't think that Mason in the crowd looks that jarring nor do I think that the conspiracy theories presented were dull, I thought it was very thrilling and engaging and that alot of the theories proposed and explored hold alot of weight and whilst many are entry level this doesn't take anything away from the game as you can't expect a AAA game with a majority audience of average Joes to enjoy or understand something super esoteric.

I will never forget the bloodwing bossfight. From the idea of my favourite Borderlands character (at that point) having to witness his companion go through all this whilst crawling your way through the compound praying he is at least alive considering what we came across but also knowing whatever state he was in was probably worse than death. Come the bossfight I totally blanked alongside jack on what the 5th element was and with all that tension thinking we saved bloodwing, he yells explosive. The way my heart sank when I heard the beeping stunned me and all I could do was stand/sit there, in game and not, and stare in fear and ultimately shattered upon the explosion. I had to sit there for 5 minutes and just cry due to how much it hurt me. Unpause, grab my loot reward, and handsome jack plays a sad violin dude, I couldn't even help it but I just cursed his name while he laughed in my face. All of this at 15 years old made me realize how genius of a villain he is

I’ve been saying AC 1 is the best in the series since AC3 and was always looked at as if I were insane- it’s nice to feel vindicated so many years later with people realizing how much that first game got shockingly right on the first go. People forget how revolutionary AC1’s traversal system was. It fundamentally reshaped how basically all third person action games would be played from then on

Borderlands was my first fps and I’ve loved every game regardless of their flaws. It’s a schlocky, chaotic shooter with a mess of a story because the game was made first and the story had to be cut down. The inclusivity is nice but I don’t particularly enjoy it either way. Borderlands is the most “video game” that has ever existed. It doesn’t need anymore than that

The second I got into modern warfare I quit cod forever I miss it but I started at the beginning and black ops 2 is still the top dog and the stories are always better than any game

I bought COD2 on launch day with the 360 I had pre ordered...to t his day, it's still my favorite, we used to have this game invite loophole that would allow for like 40-60 players, it was amazing...and should have been how the game released...By default, it was something incredibly small like 5 on 5 or 4 on 4

Infinite wafare will always be in my top 3 of zombie game modes the actors like Kevin Smith and David Hasselhoff just fit well and don't get me started on boss fights and director cut so much fun

But since the 1940's forward up until 2024.. these wars were not fought unless they had combined arms. This means no fucking squadron of marines went into a combat zone without having artillery backing them, without having a fucking AC130 hovering overhead, without having atleast 1 F-16 fighter jet making passes covering their asses. That's just how war's are fought in that time period.. now in Ukraine it's swapped to drones and unmanned vehicles. It's a compleeetely different type of war man.

I've been thinking a lot about burying the hatchet recently. I think no one shot because they both realized that the other one is right, they both have a hood point, Michael got a family and couldn't keep up with that lifestyle, what was he supposed to do? And Trevor? His best friend tried to kill him and then made him believe that he was dead, he has every right to be pissed. Back in the day I thought nothing of it but now that I'm older I can relate to both the characters, what they go through is something we all experienced or will eventually experience. You have a best friend you go clubbing and travel with in your 20s, until he settles down and now he barely answers your texts, you desperately want your friend back but he keeps telling you that he is too old to party now, he has a wife, a mortgage or whatever. Or maybe you're the one who settled down and your old friend from college still wants to go to spring break with you, ultimately we're all someone's trevor or someone's Michael

The straw that broke the camels back for me is when they started adding random celebrities and fictional characters into the game. That is truly when it went from a military game to some kind of Fortnite wannabe. Yeah I get that FN hit the stratosphere with popularity, but COD did the mistake of trying to be something it isn't.

I now understand why a mode that has been there for over a decade is still not popular. I like solving puzzles and Easter eggs by myself without looking for guides on the internet. But you cannot do that in Treyarch zombies. Because how would you possibly know that the start of a main storyline Easter egg is placed out of the map without looking for guides? I could put myself in DMZ for 20 days just to figure out all the secrets and Easter eggs in Koschei Complex without any help from others, while 2 hours in Treyarch zombies I’m falling asleep already.

I'm so glad we share the same opinion of BO2. By FAR the best multiplayer of any CoD; past or present. I feel like most people have super thick lenses on their nostalgia goggles when they list BO1 as the best - but what's fun about AUG/FAMAS sitting in corner with Ghost and Second Chance Pro?
