As of recently, some Neca knockoffs are of good quality and you can use them for army builds or spare parts
I do watch a lot of onlyonekenobi even top to flop mace windu figures video was the one I suggested him to make 😃👍.

Always enjoyed the Doom character, I admit my intro was in the FF movie of 2005, but he looked great. I'm sad RDJ is back with another role in the MCU when many more actors could have brought something huge to the role. RDJ is tainted with Iron Man, and it's not going to be easy to look past his casting as someone else now, regardless of whatever multiverse excuse they use. A shame. Long live (OG) Doom!
@@GelNerd I must admit I was bemused at the casting announcement but I’ve got faith in the Russo brothers. Just as long as they don’t make him “evil Tony Stark” and actually be faithful to the comic book version, rather than the two poor live action versions we’ve had so far, then I’m intrigued to see what they do.
Man alive…how I loved the OG Doom even without a cape..I loved my Doom figure and loved my Doom tower even more..used all my different figures with that thing,it worked for so many lines…just super cool toys..this new version is a nice homage

I’ve seen jason figures in official distributors with sideways chevrons. Neca has no quality control at this poin
Is it ALL aliens who have the NECA print under the feet? I have the print under my big chap but nothing under my isolation and dog alien
I'm an Alien fan, but as long as products are able to pose and are still made well, I am happy with a bootleg figure.
So on eBay in the description of the product some say Unbranded and some say NECA. Can I trust the ones that say NECA? I’ve seen some superman ones for like £30 that say NECA. Is that too good to be true?
@@jettreels I think you’d need to look at the seller, common consensus is that if the seller has good feedback and has been selling for a period of time, you can trust them. If they have lots of negative feedback and/or have only recently set up their eBay account, then it’s best to avoid.

I managed to get one of these sets from a seller on eBay who was based here in Australia. As the shipping was local, it worked out cheaper than me buying it directly from Character. I don’t know how the seller made any money on it because the set itself came to around the price Character was asking for but I’m pleased to have it in my collection nonetheless.

You mentioned that these are not meant for kids based on the pricing etc., yet the package is marked for kids 4+ years age. Hasbro may have to rethink about certain different branding for adult collectors and also may loose a certain market share due to the rebranding. Just my thoughts. The best way out would be Pulse exclusives for all those pending figures...especially Mola Ram.

Distribution is really bad on East coast in USA. WEST coast seems to get everything first and more waves of it. There’s always the most skimpy distribution for new waves on the East coast, retailers will get a little b it and if you snooze you lose out on getting scalped figured for MSRP. I’ve been lucky getting most platinums but it’s getting ridiculous overall

Fab video! Sadly the only one I know here is the Corgi DB5! However, fully aware of the other big name brands and toys, and it was a great retrospective piece. Hope you manage to get some of those Holy Grails in the future! 😀

Strong list there Jason. I'm guessing the Action Man and James Bond DB5 are the easiest to find on Ebay and are probably the cheapest. I'm still looking for a Batmobile, saw one last year while on holiday, complete with boat and both figures but foolishly didn't buy it 🤦♂️ The Panther is also quite easy to find, but trying to get a complete one with both gas cans is a bit tricky, I'm still missing one can from mine. The Stalker figure is also tricky to track down and can be a bit pricey but you never know, bargains can still be found out there. I had the Action Force headquarters! It was one of my favourite toys as a kid, a true multifunction playset. Sadly my parents threw mine away 😢 Funny, I always thought you were slightly younger than me, but if you were 11 in 83 you are actually 5 years my senior 😮, well you certainly don't look it, I guess the stress of living down south and moving to NL and having 2 kids has taken its toll on me 😂
There’s quite a few DB5’s out there so, as you say, should be the easiest to find in good condition. I’ve been there before when I’ve seen something and either not bought it or not bid for it and then regret it! 😕😂 People forget how multifunctional the AF headquarters was, with that fold down ramp, I’m still thinking of trying to collect Action Force again as I had loads but stupidly gave them away to a cousin!! But as the Panther & Stalker were my favourite, I’d thought I’d just start there first. Thank you very kindly, many people don’t believe I’m as old as I am, I guess it’s that good old Manchester lifestyle keeping me young…😂😂 plus collecting toys!! 😏

Its crazy to see how most of the mcfarlane figures sold out in the usa are for very cheap prices and huge amounts here at mexico, for like 5 months batman knightfall was being sold for 15 dollars, maybe mexican sellers are getting all the mcfarlane figures 😂😂😂
Any one here collect the Neca puppet master figures? I’ve got a set from my local Best Buy which I assume and seems legit. But I’ve bought another set from eBay and at first glance the text on the box seemed slightly blurry which gave me a strange feeling. As soon as I popped the ‘torch puppet figure’ the arm popper right off…neither set has Neca on the feet tho. They don’t look bad tho, they’re passable…the box is what gave me most doubt tho. 🤔 anyone know what’s up?
I just saw it I love your shelving scheme Sir it appeals to the me. Perhaps I will go back to collecting older lines like DC Direct DC collectibles at least it appears that I can find these?

What really gets me is when you find a really cool DC Multiverse toy that you want the resale amount is so high you can't afford it
If distribution is bad in the UK it's pretty bad here in the US. I have yet to find a website that has all of Todd McFarlane's DC Multiverse listed

Amazon has been dead when it comes to MacFarlane toys, they used to have all their new stuff
i dont have many knock offs. but i have more action figures than any toy collector i have ever met in my life. but as i am older now. over 50 etc. i would buy a knock off or seconds any day over the legit one. as i buy them for me. i just seen a video on these rambo figures this guy got from aliexpress. he got 2 figures for 16 dollars. and i got the 200 dollar version. sure there face is not as perfect or as good. but damn close. they are about free at that cost. so if i could do it again and pay 20 for a fake figure that is almost as good or 200 for the real one. i would buy the fake all day long. most legit figures are way way way way to much anymore. example. 6 inch gijoes at walmart. one figure is 15. then almost the same figure in a fancy box.....and comes with a few extra hands. a few extra guns. is 60. what a joke. my favorite figures are mego. we all like our own brands. my biggest collection i star wars. i got 14 boxes full of star wars toys. and my collections have labels on every box. of what is in each and i have a book that matches all my labels on my totes or boxes. each figure in its own ziploc. snack size. quart. gallon and 2.5 gallon baggies. spotless. but my holy grail toy is the mego robin. i still got mine from childhood and i got the new mego version of it. man for some reason that figure is epic. six million dollar man is up there too.
Yeah.. I'm wondering how many collectors said that "this is it, I quit" line to themselves.. 😆🤣😂

Is there anything about McFarlane’s DC Multiverse line that’s consistent? Distribution? Pricing? Supply and demand? The quality of the figures themselves? There are days where I think McFarlane loves the DC license like no other, and there are days where I think it’s a chore that he’d rather not be bothered with. There are McFarlane DC Multiverse figures that I absolutely love, and there are DC Multiverse figures that I wouldn’t pay $5 for if they came with a $10 Amazon gift card. It can be a challenging line to collect, even when you’re far from a completionist.
Your comment pretty much sums it up. Some figures I've not bought even on deep discount because they looked like they would break right out of the package.
I've been starting to feel the same this year... but still wanting some figures that I want 😮💨 The amounts US to UK is ridiculous after only just relieving pre-order! For example, Batman (BvS) is available for £18.99 at McFarlane US Shop but yoy will have to add pay around £25 delivery to UK ...I only find this figure in UK online for £24.99 or locate random eBay trying to sell £45+ 😟 there are some place I find Europe online shops for £19.99/£22.99 but I need to cover delivery £6.99+....... UK is just weak 😔
I live in the US and I can tell you one thing for sure and that's if you don't pre-order the first day your out of luck. I pre-ordered the 89 batmobile a few days after they went on sale and after a 6 month wait I canceled my order. It is very hit a miss with them. Plus they need to stop making figures that no one cares about and focus on stuff collectors want .
100% this!! We couldn’t even order the 89 Batmobile as it was an Amazon US exclusive so shipping fees made it too expensive to order from there.
I'm sure there was at least one person out there who cared about Booster Gold as Waverider...that person wasn't me, though. Never saw that figure where I live, anyway.
i never did find Time Monster set which rather liberated me from the need to collect them all !
Same with the B&M Hartnell Tardis, never saw it anywhere! Crazy how much distribution varies from area to area!
Little tip, but while the Forbidden Planet Megastores have the peg warmers left if you can get to the smaller stores semi regularly you can usually pick up most of the new releases.
