Jackson Holliday is so overrated. Baltimore knows it. Most fans kinda know it. Tigers should just sign Skubal and Flaherty. Skubal, Jobe, Flaherty, Olson, Mize...that will be one of the best rotations in baseball. The Tigers have bats in Dingler and Jung coming shortly. Plus, Detroit has more bats in Hao Yu Lee, Clark, McGonigle, Briceno and Rainer in the system. Detroit just needs to keep what they have. Baltimore HAS TO try and make the deal. Baltimore would have Skubal for the next 3 postseasons.

Truth is, I doubt there will be a trade involving Skubal with any team. His value is so high, few teams have the prospects, and the few that do, will shy away from the price, which will rightfully be humongous.

You obviously don't follow the Orioles. The SS ship for Holliday sailed a long time ago. He's being groomed for 2nd base to team with Henderson. Orioles future infield----Westburg at 3rd, Henderson SS, Holliday 2nd and Mayo (another untochable prospect) at 1st. Connor Norby is another highly regarded infield prospect that could play for any team in the league right now.

Even if you consider LMB to be minor league, Trevor's stat line would get any AAA pitcher called up. And as a guy who'll play for league minimum, it is genuinely unbelievable that teams still refuse to hire him. When we see so many pitchers being injured, even if he actually is only as good as a minimum-salary vet, that's still worth having for most bullpens.
