That example in Luke 15 about having joy over sinners who repent is hitting me pretty hard. I think it’s probably a mature kind of joy that serious Christians have in life more and more since it shifts from just joy over our own salvation to now the selfless joy of salvation of others.

Everything you have spoken is correct. But you're also taking out that we live in the flesh and Jesus died for our sins. I believe you are judged by t he heart when you confess. Even when you walk as he asks, doesn't mean you will never sin. Thus, we have to hate sin and ask for forgiveness every day. My brother, you lack to mention the Love of God and the Blood of Christ our the most important thing we need to confess and believe

I think this conclusion would be fine if the rest of the Bible didn't exist. Among others: Ephesians 4:4-6 - “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.” John 10:30 I and the Father are one John 10:36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? 37 Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. 38 But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”

1Cor 15:21-27: "For since, in fact, through a man came death, through a Man, also, comes the resurrection of the dead. For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified. Yet each in his own class: the Firstfruit, Christ; thereupon those who are Christ's in His presence; thereafter the consummation, whenever He may be giving up the kingdom to His God and Father, whenever He should be nullifying all sovereignty and all authority and power. For He must be reigning until He should be placing all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy is being abolished: death.” Vivified [the root word is zoe] meaning made immortal….each in his own class, (1) Christ the firstfruits, (2) those who are Christ’s [aka Christians] at His coming (3) the consummation [which is at least 1000 years after his coming]. If all are made immortal who are going to be made immortal at Christ’s coming, then who exactly is made immortal at the consummation when death is abolished? Whose death is abolished at the consummation? Is God all in all at the Christ’s coming, or is He all in all at the consummation when all are made alive? All creation is in Christ.

A whole bunch of thoughts and comments: In Genesis 3:1, isn't the "one" that deceived the woman described as more crafty than any other beast, and NOT technically described as a beast, NOR a creation that a man should have dominion over? (And perhaps in other places of scripture: - this "one" is characterised as having a character of a serpant, - and indeed is called "serpant" - including in Genesis 3:1, - And perhaps is also called "beast" - IMHO as a character/nature and not a "being") My point is how is it clear that Adam was to have dominion (or rule) over this "one" too? +++ She was NOT Eve, until when Adam called her that. Genesis 3:20 Adam called her "woman" from the start. Genesis 2:23 (There are special powers to the "calling" that was made.) The woman was BEFORE the fall. Eve was AFTER the fall. +++ Adam was "with" the woman. Genesis 3:6. It's not the same as Adam was "with" the woman physically at the time the woman had the conversation with the serpant. Also, Adam confirmed that he is stayed with her in Genesis 3:12. +++ The woman ate... Then gave to Adam. Genesis 3:6 It's not that Adam and the woman ate at the same time, per say. +++ The woman confirmed she was deceived. Genesis 3:13 Adam said he stayed with the woman he was given, even though she gave him of the tree to eat. Genesis 3:12 +++ The woman had a consequence... that includes Adam ruling over her. Genesis 3:16 Adam had rule over the woman AFTER the fall, NOT before. Adam had a consequence for listening (and taking heed) to the woman - instead of what God commanded him- to eat of the tree. Genesis 3:17 IMHO, the reason the reason for the consequence wasn't specified to the woman is because she is subject to Adam now. +++ The woman was decieved. 1 Timothy 2:14 Adam was NOT deceived. 1 Timothy 2:14 +++ There are a number of places in scripture where it states husbands are to love their wives. There are also a number of places in scripture where it states wives are to submit to their husbands. +++ Adam and "his bone of his bones, and flesh of his flesh... taken out of him" (Genesis 2:23), is akin to Romeo and Juliet... A love story done better... But still not right... They both died! Why did Adam, who was NOT deceived, stay "with" the woman? Why is the woman's desire "for" her husband? Genesis 3:16 +++ Christ came, then died... For his body, the church... And God was well-pleased! Isaiah 53:10; 2 Peter 1:17-18. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his unique Son, that whoever will believe in him will not be die, but will have life in the age to come" Also definitely see Ephesians 5:22-33

Revelation 12:9 refers to a great dragon, which it identifies as "the serpent of old" who is called the devil and Satan. So was this adversary speaking through the serpent in a similar way to how an angel of God may have spoken through Balaam's ass? We know snakes and donkeys don't talk (except in Shrek, The Jungle Book and the Bible). I get a kick out of how Balaam has a conversation with his donkey, and the narrator doesn't even address how crazy this is! I have to assume that the narrator of the Balaam story in Numbers expects us to know it was the angel that made him talk. Could you elaborate on the Hebrew word for serpent, on how it is related to whispering spells/divination? Was this creature/beast a hissing whisperer of some other sort? Was it really a serpent? Or was it one hisser (Satan) speaking through another? I like the idea of your video. There are all lot of little details we miss in the bible because we think we already "KNOW" the story, and we fail to read carefully. These small missed details would make a great theme for a series of short videos.

Failure in basic systematic theology. The Bible does not teach “soul sleep.” Multiple passages refute that view. Matthew 22:31-32 “But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, 'I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, AND THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB'? He is not the God of the dead but of the living." Did not Jesus say to the dying thief, “ ‘Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise’ ” (Luke 23:43)? At the moment of death, the believers spirit/soul is ushered into the presence of the Lord. The apostle wrote, “To be absent from the body is to be present with Christ.” The mortal body lies in the grave until the resurrection when the spirit/soul is reunited with our immortal heavenly body.

The dead s spirits are sleeping but not in their graves but the good are sleeping with Abraham in Paradise, and the wicked unrepentant are across the gulf, sleeping in a tormented sleep, waitng on the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgement. Those who die for Jesus take part in the first resurrection and are raised to live again with Jesus in His kingdom here on earth for 1,000 years, and those that take part in the first resurrection dont die again, and have no part in the second death.

"Heis" does not mean one person, it means "one." It is masculine in 1. Cor. 8.4 because it is describing "theos" (God), which is masculine. The speaker in the video has added the word "person" here to fit his presupposed understanding of God, but it's not in the text of the verse. The title "one Lord" appears three times in the New Testament: once in Mar. 12.29, where Jesus says the LORD Our God is One LORD, once in 1. Cor 8.6 where the title of "one Lord" is exclusively applied to Jesus, and one final time in Eph. 4.5, which like 1 Cor., was written by Paul and thus is a reference to Jesus (unless Paul is contradicting himself). If we believe the whole Bible is true, this really only leaves two options: 1). either the LORD our God is a Lord but not our Lord, OR 2). the title of the LORD our God can be applied to Jesus.

Totally wrong. The scripture says a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again. We should humble ourselves by calling ourselves sinners like the publican who beat his breast and called himself a sinner, whereas the Pharisee did not see his own sin of pride and looked down upon the publican calling him a sinner. God gives grace to the humble and resists the proud. I want to receive Grace and so I humble myself by examining my life and in finding sin there lurking I rightly say that I am a sinner. James 4 which is written to Christians mind you states "God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, YE SINNERS and purify your hearts, ye double minded. ". So there you have it. Scriptural proof that we are sinners. Paul explained that he was the worst of sinners and in Romans 7 he says this "For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body [4] of this death? " So if the holy apostle called himself wretched because of sin then who are we to claim that we are better than Paul by not admitting that we are sinners. Obviously there is a false humility that many practice when they almost boast that they are sinners and hypocritically use it as an excuse for ongoing sin, but this is actually extremely wicked and prideful and we will fall from Grace if we do this so obviously that needs to be avoided. I wouldn't go around in public saying I am a sinner but in my private prayer I do concede that I am a sinner.

Hebrews 9:22 states, "...and without the shedding of blood is no remission." Jesus paid for my salvation in his blood, and he did it for you too. Good one, calling yourself a sinner is actually rejecting what Jesus has done to save the true born again believers from satan's bondage, dangerous words which can put you back in bondage... The definition of sin is living in satan's nature, Jesus came to deliver us from satan's bondage, resurrect our spirit allowing His Spirit to live in and through us, *now able to live in God's nature,* sons of God, not slaves of satan anymore.

This is how denial begins. I am not a sinner, but if I want to avoid cognitive dissonance when I do sin, I dare not recognize my sin as sin, which means that I continue to do it. This was one of the biggest obstacles to becoming a Christian that I faced. I had relatives, people who I knew very well, and I watched them blissfully unaware of their sinning. You can't correct what you can't recognize. I'm not talking about sex. In fact it was their focus on illicit sex as sin that seemed to blind them to the other things. Mostly it had to do with pain they caused by the misapplication of love. Within their families you could cut the pain with a knife, but they didn't see anything wrong at all. They were sinning and in denial of sinning.

Another example of ignorance of the Bible. Jeremiah 32:27: “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” Yahweh (God the Father) said that he is God of all flesh. He became God of Jesus when Jesus became flesh in Marys womb. John 1:14 - The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. 1 Tim 2:5-5: For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man[a] Christ Jesus. Jesus rose physically and here Paul says that there is one mediator who is the man Jesus. So Jesus now in heaven has a physical body. So God the Father will remain his God till Jesus is in his flesh. Hence Paul says in 1 Corinth 1:3 - Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort. Yahweh/God the Father, is God and Father of Jesus. In Revelation where you streched 4 times this is the reason. But you ignore other claims of Jesus eg. he claims to be the First and the Last in same Revelation 1:17, which is the title of only God Almighty in Isaiah 44:6. So before going to Revelation 3 you should have read Revelation 1. You should be mindful about what you say about Jesus. As you said that he is just an agent figure then why does God the Father addresses him as God and not just an agent in Hebrews 1:8 8 But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. 9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.” How dare you say he is an agent and not God when God the Father, speaks about his Son in the above verse, he addresses him as God.
