  Definitely an issue with the drum spider even though it is not exactly broken - most possibly cracked and wedged itself causing the drum to oscillate rubbing against the seal. Not sure if it made it up to 1200rpm on the final burst (might of limited to 1000 or 1100 as not balanced due to excessive drum movement as it went through the redistribution cycle before the final burst). Nice machine despite the knackered drum.

  Yup the spider is rather knackered but once it speeds up past 1000rpm to it's maximum 1400 the banging/knocking noises disappear and it is very quiet - apart from the obvious drum wobble which is the clear indication that the spider has gone.

  Yeah think this is manual, I put it to rinse held spin button down when it displayed the time turned it to drain whilst still holding spin button then turned to easy care and it did a full spin

  yeah that refused to do anything on mine. always just beeped twice on anything besides the door lock check. think prewash fill worked too. but nothing else

  mine was a bit temperamental. it would do all what you said with door lock check and prewash fill but then wouldn’t lock the door and would just beep there was a few times where i had to keep restarting the machine to get it to work
