Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh this brings back some freakin' awesome memories for me .... Early 1990's I had an a relatively simple ( compared to some ) yet awesome sounding system in my 1976 Holden HX Premier and this CD came out through a few of the better car audio stores. I grabbed a copy, unwrapped it as quick as I could take it to the carpark and crank the shit out of it on many many trips over the years I had that car. Loved it ... this takes me back to a simpler time when life was easy and petrol was cheap, under $1 per litre. I used the "Bass Hit" album as a reference CD for fine tuning my system and it worked awesome. Equally as good was an album "Bass Cows" put out by Soundstream at the time - also here on KZread. Thanks for uploading this. I tried google hunting for ages and then just like a light bulb switched on, I remembered a cow on the cover and thought Bass Cows ... did another quick search and found this. This track was my absolute favourite, used to get my whole car shaking. Swear every time I cranked this song, I'd have to go around and tighten every nut and bolt back up 🤣🤣🤣 I still had this CD up until 2 years ago when a HUGE tree of our neighbours fell down into our back yard crushing everything including our storage shed with a very large collection of awesome music from the 90's ... we lost everything including this album 😢 now I know it's on here, I'm gunna be cranking the shit out of it for old times sake. So ThAnK YoU so much for the upload. Bloody awesome.

I've read elsewhere that it's this amp IC that's causing the popping noise. If all HomePods have this faulty designed chip, is that not a class action waiting to happen? Anyone spoken to a lawyer?

Any updates on your experience? I have at least two of my six HomePods exhibiting this popping sound (I have 3 stereo pairs in different rooms). None have died yet, but this noise may force the retirement of them as it is random, loud and disruptive.
No update except that you can't get a replacement amplifier IC because it's a custom part.

I mean it's a "subwoofer" but yeah you're right how do you expect anything under 35hz to come out of that? It's pointless having it play those very low frequencies under 20hz
It’s being driven a bit harder because the woofer isn’t installed in the HomePod. There’s a microphone inside the HomePod that monitors the woofer ensuring it isn’t over driven. It still plays those low notes when fully assembled, but not the same excursion levels.
There was no Power on mine did a reset. how can I fix it!>? is it the Power circuit? or a capacitor or the mainboard? Any help would be grateful. it was working one day and the next stopped working.
It is a Diode. I Repair 3 HomePods with this fault.

I noticed a minor difference from the Leopard intro, where it originated: It's faster. That's the only difference. Proof: It ends early compared to Leopard, where it ends at the "ding" sound in the background music "Exodus Honey".

I installed this in Goertek factory in Vietnam, my job is to assemble them and test OK! the speaker has a great bass range and the body is the size of an apple! Apple will soon post an order for airpods vs our factory, the project should have been active but is being delayed because of the outbreak of Covid 19 in my place! it would be nice if the project kicks off and I'll be involved in assembling them

Thanks for investigating the issue. A couple of questions, i currently have two homepods working fine for more than a year, can and will this happen to everyone? Does disabling hey siri and only using them as speakers prevent this issue? Should we disconnect the speakers, for example, at night to prevent the speakers from going idle too long? Thanks again

Not really, when ever you play music, the woofer amplifier will be receiving power and sending DC to the woofer (along with the AC musical signal)
The driver looks jus like the ones inside the Bose SoundDock Portable.
thats because almost every brand uses the same speakers they only do the design and brand the rest is just copied lol
its not the same. i looked it up and the dust cp is bigger on the HomePod Mini. the surround is a bit different but looks similar.
