Nowadays you don't usually get what you pay for but if you by Minn Kota or hummingbird you actually get what you pay for that's my opinion anyway.

Doug I have the xtm 25 so that I could get rid of the radio frequency noise. I was running the transom transducer but it was getting blurred with the noise. How do you wire the xtm 25 so that I dont get the noise?

Hi Doug do you have a video on how the heading sensor works with the 360? I’m installing both 360 and HS/gps and trying to understand how they work together. I’ve herd that the heading sensor will allow for accurate waypoints when using 360. How is that when the hummingbird units already have gps in them? Thanks

Definitely the best video game fishing video I have seen so far! Just realistic and clear! I only saw videos catching fishes all the time, which upset me a lot as I thought I was doing something wrong or I misinterpreted the fishfinder. But your story told me and confirmed me I was seeing fishing and scared the fish anyway lol. Thanks! I got my confidence back and will give it another try. Just a quick question: I usually fish from kayak. Will it be too late to drop bait when I see the fish on graph, since the kayak always drifts a bit?

Thank you, Doug, for those tips. I always check bolts and screws BUT I didn't even think about my Ultrex. Just did the check and there were quite a few tightening required. For those screws to the boat I there were two that tdisnt self tighten, but seem good enough. I am not sure how to get to the nuts. Will have to investigate. Thanks again!

Hey doug, not sure if you are still reviewing and responding to questions on the Onix series graphs, but I have a question on the setup process for establishing which transducer settings I should use for sonar, DI and SI. I have 455 and 800 for the DI and SI, and 200 and 83 (I believe) for Sonar. Which transducer settings to recommend for most water applications. And do you use the auto range on each view type or do you prefer to set them for the water depth or SI view you want? I am not getting great images from my units and I believe it is settings based. Thanks for your help.

Nice Doug. Two things keeping me off the water. Self Isolating and still 3 ft of ice on our lakes up here in central Canada. Watched 25 to 30 of your videos while isolating AND learned how to prepare and mount my new Helix 10 G3 in addition to an older Helix 10 and a 998. The weather will be nice enough soon to remove the boat cover and start preparations. I also use the same Windex cleaning solution but in a pinch distilled water also good for the screens.
