I am a film and television historian with a B.S. in Creative Media and Film with an emphasis in Media Studies.
I originally created a KZread Channel to make fun and entertaining videos only to realize how much of a love I have for cinema and our past. Therefore I aim to share that knowledge with others and bring back that nostalgia we all know and love.
I also run a series called Logo Madness where we look at and break down those past logos we may have found scary and or errie as children as well as many other errie or creepy video or television terrors.

Thank you very much. I am glad to hear that. King is always pleased to hear of his fans, and he definitely appreciates your support. To follow up with that, yes, I did follow up by getting me an Xbox series X for my college graduation which was gifted by King himself. That was not filmed, but it was definitely a generous gift. I myself have moved on from the reaction phase, and I am focusing more of my efforts on my profession, which is film and film history. Thank you again for being a fan.

I don't know why, but it was never the loudness or the animation that scared me the most about this logo, it was always the weird sounding synthesizer. It sounded kind of out of tune and distorted. It's interesting seeing how everyone is scared of this logo for different reasons, it's almost like it's a piece of art.

5:32 Connecticut Public Television is a statewide PBS network, meaning that its made up of several different PBS stations from said state, all mashed together into one PBS station seen across the state. This is done for several reasons, but the main one that I see is that most cities in the state the network is located in were too rural to afford their own stations, and so had to get translator stations from bigger cities in the state. The rural cities would end up getting stations, but would be looped in with the statewide PBS network regardless. As of 2023, there are 30 states that have statewide PBS networks. Hope that helps 👍

Sounds high pitched.
When I was a kid growing up in MA during the 80’s the (2nd variation) logo itself reminded me of an electric stovetop heating up and then add that unnerving synth swell; IT BURNNNNS!!! 😂 Yeah needless to say it use to scare the crap out of me ESPECIALLY when I’d fall asleep with the tv on and wake up to that horror! As an adult after watching various WGBH logo histories, remixes, and parodies to overcome my channel 2 phobia haha I can ultimately say it makes me feel very nostalgic for home and my childhood. Great vid, thanks man!

I agree, part two of this video was supposed to come out a couple days after this. Sadly, though the file got corrupted, and I had to start from square one. Then I started my new job and then I just got busy. I’m hoping to still do it just to have both parts, even though everybody has seen season five now. But I have some other planned videos related to Cobra Kai as well as other movies and TV shows. On the other hand I’m planning on possibly unboxing that new GoPro, and using it for future videos as well. Thanks for the sub, appreciate it!
@@modrenwarefare that's nice man I been meaning to buy myself a go pro for myself to I started my own KZread channel to like 7months ago but it's nothing compared to plain rocks or yours but slowly I see people subscribe I was completely done with KZread like 1month ago but I saw that 5 people had subscribe to my channel which gave me motivation to do it again but having to work from 7am to 5pm really doesn't give me energy to make videos I been wanting to make a short these past few days but I just been procrastinating. But I won't lie I'm definitely happy that after KZread basically gave up on Kobra kai Netflix came and helped it out I legit was like wtf when they brought kreese back and then silver I was like no fucking way over all they did good

I've heard from many Tubers that the Viacom Zooming V was the scariest logo. Personally, I never got scared of it, but I understand how many kids got scared of that. Mix that with the Russian BND Logo, and you've got yourself a horror meme.

For me the Nick Jr Productions Logo, the WGH Boston logo, the Walt Disney Home Video logos (the one with the loud trumpets and the one with the loud singing), the Sony Wonder logo, and the Sesame Workshop logo freaked me out as a kid. Especially the Nick Jr Productions logo. I just don’t like the cheap clay animation along with the children laughing in the background. It doesn’t bother me anymore nowadays but as a kid that was my worst nightmare.

TOD part 1 was a right of passage when I was in high school. For my group of friends anyway. I'm in my forties now, and even though I rebought these on dvd (my coveted VHS tapes burned in a house fire) I have no desire to watch these now. Guess I've decided at this point that I'm not immortal. Nice video.
