There was a gap of no new Journey music from 1983 until this single came out in 1985. I got the 45 when it came out and when I played it, it was like greeting old friends

90s music had nothing on the eighties. If one were to list the genres and revivals of all sorts including (theUK) and developments visually and to existing styles to blues rock, prog, funk etc etc etc . The emergence and also mixes of styles - it’s staggering, takes forever to list. The 90s don’t compare. Up to dance culture and Madchester - 90s Bit of getting back to being scruffy and fuzz tones and Brit pop with its 60s / 80s mix (Graham Coxon though!) Never had cars at school- couple boys had noisy, smoky Vespas during the Mod/ 2 Tone/ Skins revival. Drive Thrus non existent. McDs came in 1987.
