Carson was Letterman's mentor... and dear friend. We shall not see his like again.

As usual with SNL throughout the years, the skit was twice as long as necessary.

Growing up in the 80s, we watched his shows every night and relied on them. Tucking America to bed for 33 years, amd here I am, 20 years past his passing, I still come here to watch his shows. Bluetooth YT to my TV & Johnny Carson is still tucking me to bed 💜 The Goat of night time television 🕊️

What he did to Joan was terrible, it appears he did know the meaning of " giving artists a start " in the industry, and when Joan got an opportunity for her own show, after filling in for little johnney, proving she could host a show and loved by millions well the little white haired devil wouldn't speak to her..hung up the phone..total imaturity...

The cutaway to Conan O’Brien making a “when will this thing be over” face is priceless! I’m sure that’s not how he felt, but it’s pretty funny how it looked.

Johnny Carson paved the way for many different comedians and actors in Hollywood and pretty much around the world as well. I have very fond memories as a young boy, watching his show my parents and distant relatives also have fond memories of him growing up and throughout their adulthood as well. I really respected him for everything that he did and I think it was a great loss when he passed! R.I.P. Johnny Carson!
