Im a prop maker hobbyist who enjoys 3D printing and being part of the prop world where I can create things that I never thought I can ever have, the props I saw in movies that inspired me and loved as a child. With my RoboCop suit , Ghostbusters proton pack and much more I'm excited to share with the community videos and tutorials. I'm also excited to share the greatest technology that has come around for prop building and pretty much every other personal hobby which is 3D printing. Great video Chris! I tried this scanner for a few days and couldn’t figure it out. This video is very helpful!
Thanks sir! Its definitely not an easy tool to use but once you find the workflow you need its not bad at all. Took me a few days to figure it out. A little bit at a time for large objects is the way to go.

The scanner did a great job. I'm just wondering if you could attach it to a programmable drone and do fly by scans of hard to get to objects. You read it here first folks.
I don't think it could do that unfortunately. It requires slow and steady movements to scan. It took quite a bit of practice to get the movement down and even then I would still lose tracking quite a bit. It will vary from object to object of course but scanning a little at a time is best and merging your scans later.

It’s the exact same mould they used for the afterlife wand too. And regarding the timeout it is a must for these things. It’s a legal requirement for companies like hasbro to sell prop toy replicas like these with a shut off otherwise they would get into a lot of legal trouble. But you can sort of keep it alive without modding, all you have to do is flick the first 2 switches and leave the 3rd off then press the fire button every now and then to reset the timer. Personally I skipped the 84 wand as I’ve already made my afterlife wand interchangeable from 84, 89 afterlife and soon Frozen empire just using snap on grips and swappable parts. Glad they made it but to me it’s not worth the extra couple $ for a repaint and new grips. Now if they were to release something like the compact Neutrona Gauntlet from the new film I’d defiantly buy that. Also regarding the 84 pack, unless hasbro get the license to make them they will never do it. Currently the licence is held by Spirit which is why they make the more 84 styled packs.

Wow, that was quite a feat. I commend that you tried to stay in character and not smile, Chris Bosh, although you seemed to be struggling a bit with that at section 3:02 onward. Well performed regardless. By the way, I just now noticed the text "OCP POLICE 001" in your helmet. That is some devotion to details! Your wife must also have an awesome personality, since she helps you put the suit on so many times and will film your antics. Not every wife would agree to do all that.
