But I never managed to get the dialogue that shows she is conflicted about Shar and the dialogue where she is not praying as much at camp. Why do you think that is? @slimXG
@SlimXG4 күн бұрын
Hard to say without more specific info. As mentioned in the video, if you have the "blockbackground" flag set from SH telling you about her background when you hit 4 Nightsong Points, her "!" conversation about being "conflicted" won't pop up (the Noblestalk being the 4th NSP will do this, for example), but you can still go to camp and see the dialogue about praying to Shar, if you know it's there. If you don't see either, then you don't have enough points or just missed the chance to talk to her in camp before that dialogue is canceled (by long resting or even just leaving camp).
@matheus.bueno474 күн бұрын
@@SlimXG I never had the conflicted cutscene, including in playthroughs where I had 1 Nightsong point prior to the background cutscene. Would that be possible? However I don't exactly think that's a glitch, it might be but it's also just a really bittersweet and in character moment of Shadowheart letting go and having to deal with losing her parents in exchange for finally being free of Shar. The requirements are that you know he's a vampire and that he's told you that Cazador was his master. Though if you're playing as a Selune Cleric and you didn't read the scroll in the chest, you'll get to point out the Moonstone without a skill check, but the "No wonder you're so dedicated to Shar" line doesn't show up at all.
Thanks for all the work !! Are you planing to do a video for Act 3 ? :D
Thanks for watching! I still plan to, but I'm juggling a few different video ideas, so it may take a while.
"...Whyyy am I dragging out this intro instead of getting to the point?" I've never heard a more beautiful thing 15 seconds into an informative youtube video.
i feel like i still dont understand, but i am glad in my only successful honor run so far I was able to actually receive a buff from the damn mirror AND the zaethisk. 24 charisma hits like a truck and I melted the netherbrain before I could even take turns on my other party members
Maybe still slightly mystified, then
I’ve done both choices with Shadowheart and her parents. I feel like her saving them is a better option. Especially as she settles down with them (and you if you romance her) and from the epilogue party and the dialogue available, Shadowheart’s wound is lessened, and she seems to deal with it pretty well. With Tav/Redeemed Durge, they have a great cottage core life together.
interesting, where can i find this code / script?
The Osiris "Goals" can be extracted from a save file
@@SlimXG thank you
bruh i remember the nightsong scene on my 1st playthrough, was romancing Shadowheart, and the persuade check was DC 30 💀
If you have 40+ Approval but immediately try to talk her out of killing Nightsong, you get that DC30 Persuade. Though failing it doesn't actually lead to killing Nightsong. If you'd just trusted Shadowheart, you coulda spared the Nightsong for free on the second set of choices!
@@SlimXG Ooooohhh. That makes sense. I still tried to persuade her, but tbh i think trusting her is the better option story wise. I guess I was just worried that NOT persuading her would lead to her becoming a slave to Shar.
So THAT'S how all this works. Between playthroughs I was so confused about what exactly was deciding how she behaved. It didn't seem consistent so I had absolutely no idea what was going on. God I love this game being so overly complex to try and make the characters feel real
Oh cool, thank you for explaining this! I stumbled my way through it on my play through and got everyone the buffs but didn’t know why it wasn’t working sometimes.
I started my first honor mode a couple months ago. I don't have a lot of time to play, so I know I move slow. I watched you Act 1 video a half dozen times, and I was so happy that act 2 was posted just before I got. I finally finished act 2 last weekend and I really think I got this far because of this video! I'm patiently waiting for the act 3 video, but I have also been loving your other content so I don't know which I want to see more of! Either way just want to say thanks and to keep up the good work!
Thank you! I had just put that Nightsong Points video together as a bit of a break after the Act 2 guide, because I'd mentioned the topic in that video. I didn't expect it to get the attention that it did hahah. I've actually already begun working on the Act 3 guide, it's just a matter of finding the time to work on it vs other, shorter videos.
Is there a mod available that keeps track of things like nightsong points? That would be super helpful if there is!
I'm sure it could probably be done, though that's part of why I'm making videos like these: so people know how these systems work and can choose to keep track of them while they play, if they want to.
