  probably 3-4 hours. The calculation is pretty simple, if you need to run 450w for 12 hours then you need a battery that is 450w x 12 = 5.4Kwh. You probably would want to add a fudge factor of maybe +25% for overhead.

  @@BradCagle 1.2kwh is 100ah so i would need 12 100ah batteries to run for 12 hrs or 6 200ah

  @@squirrelmasters Pretty much, 12.8v 100ah = 1280wh. Keep in mind the voltage matters, for example a 24v 100ah battery = 2560wh. Now if you had 12x 100ah 12.8v batteries like you said, this would give you a total capacity of 15,360wh. You also might want to consider a higher voltage system. Wire size, and charge controllers get expensive with large 12v systems.

  @@BradCagle my rig uses about 1000w and i do know that about the charge controllers i am just doing research at the moment and basing power usuage for runnin kawpow with polaris cards for a good buffer

  I've been doing this with my AC200L and my personal PC for a few months. The only issue I've seen is if the AC output is close to the 12A max grid input, it freaks out and turns off the grid. If I don't notice it will then run the battery dead. If I do notice, I have to do a full power cycle to get it to work right but with a load of about 500 watts mining with my 4090 and 7800X3D I usually have no issues. I only run a load that high if I'm mining and running the Midea air conditioner at the same time. Dallas summers are brutal. I might try a firmware update and maybe that fixes my issue.

  I've had this unit for about 3 months and for the money you can't beat it. And inexpensive unit under $500 that accepts 650 watts of solar. I have a couple of inexpensive units and this is always my go-to one.

  Ran a test on our upright freezer. Test lasted 15 hours, stopped it short because I went to bed. When the freezer cycled on it was using approx. 115 watts. Since I didn't have a shunt or a smart battery I used a Govee Smart Plug Pro to track accumulated KWH. This model freezer used 861 watts total in the 15 hour period when I stopped the test. It could have lasted longer. I am only using this Licitti power station when the grid is down, and at night so I don't need to run the gas generator. Charged it with a 30 amp charger and its slow. I have the first model, and the newer box. With the Govee Smart Plug I was able to see the status of the unit while traveling that afternoon. Works for me.

Do you know what the VSR function is and how would I make this work to charge the units. I have both versions of this power station. Both should have a built in VSR. Thanks.

  Can I put 12V DC from my car power (cigarette lighter) into that Victron controller? If not, could someone recommend a similar product that has an app like the Victron? Thanks.

  No you cannot use it that way. Maybe you want a power station like a Bluetti or something? They can charge from your cig lighter, and they have an app. Thanks

  A little late to the party here but the remote battery is a 21/23 battery. If'n you don't want to wait for Amazon, you can get them at CVS. Remote works very well even without the antenna extended.

  I did purchase 12 batteries, but all had charging issues, 4 were like the 48 volt 30 amp you tested, all had one battery that was 0 volts and swelled up. The bad cell seemed to be by either the positive or negative posts. All of the BMS’s were removed. Out of the other 8 - 12 volt batteries, I was surprised to see 4 of the Chin batteries all had BMS failures. Actually all 12 had BMS failures, I wouldn’t recommend buying these type of batteries!

  Basically yes, they are like 1070's. These are P104's mining specific cards. They were originally locked down to 4GB, but a bios floating around unlocks them to full 8GB. I picked them up dirt cheap, like $30 a piece. Thanks

  Put your 4 panels in a 2s2p Configuration. (2 in series, 2 in Parallel) when that shade hits later on in the day half of your (non shadded) array will still get full power. whats the model number of the solar panels? What is the VOC and amps on the back of it?

  It may not do well in 2s2p. The IMP of the panels is 11.38A, and the max PV amps the power station input can handle is 15A. So in 2s2p it will need to allow over 22A to get the most out of it. This the pain with power stations, you have to run the voltage up as high as possible (while not going over) to fight the input current limits. The other worry is the PV adapter wire supplied by Bluetti looks a bit on the thin side (just checked 14awg, ok for 15amp) , so In the event something shorts internally, and those panels do pump out 22+ amps into that wire because of a short on the other side (short in the power station) might melt something.   @@BradCagle I had a situation like you when I was using my AC200p, I could hook up the last panel to the charge enhancer and that would send AC power to the Unit, but these new Bluetti units don't use power bricks anymore. I upgraded to the AC300 and still had that same issue but then I discovered the Bluetti PV step down Module. It allows you to put up to 450volts (i believe, i have to check) into the AC300 and other compatible power stations. It steps down the voltage so you don't have to worry about over paneling. The AC300 combo is dirt these days compared to what I payed for mine

  The only other advice I could give you is to get 2 more of those same panels and put it in a 3s 3p string. have one facing south and the other west or east (whatever is better for you in your location) that way you'll get more coverage throught the day or if you face them all south you'll get those max 15 amps that the power station can accept.

  Got all excited and tried the link. AC200L is $2,499 here in Canada 🤣Someone at the mathemagics department got confused and used 1.92x as the exchange rate instead of actual 1.37x. Maybe Canadian edition comes with a 4090 GPU to get you started 🤣

  @@BradCagle Looked around and that's only the Amazon scalping price mercifully, everywhere else it's a bit more reasonable 🤣 Can you set it so it switches to AC when battery reaches 60 or 70% SOC and not just 19%? I wouldn't want to cycle the battery every day. Is there a mode where it just outright shuts down the load at a certain SOC? Could use the whole thing just as a cloud buffer and only run the miner when the sun generates enough juice to run the miner otherwise shuts to miner off. Mining profitability is so low it's barely worth it at any hydro rate so sun-only is a good option.

  @@rafalklepinski7372 Ahh, ok good haha. Yes you can set it to whatever % you want. As for it completely shutting down, I'm not sure. I need to test that. I think once the AC output shuts off it requires someone to turn it back on. I'll play around with it.

  So I hooked a string inverter (LV-6048) into my main panel. It's a split-phase. This inverter is able to power the whole panel with no problem. I've ran all sorts of equipment such as lights, a TV, video game console, EV Charger, etc. Everything works perfectly. With the panel up and running, I connected my Enphase IQ7 microinverter into the panel hoping it sees LV-6048 power as grid power. Well, surprisingly, it worked! The IQ7 moved from red blinking light to orange. However -- when I put a load on the panel, the IQ7 does NOT contribute in terms of power output. Only LV-6048 power is used. I'm able to confirm this via my clamp meter on the IQ7 cable. LV-6048 is connected into the panel via a 50-AMP double pole breaker. My IQ7 is connected via a 30-AMP double pole breaker. Not sure if that matters?

  At the moment it produces around $0.80 per day. That's if electricity costs are 0. Since it's on solar for about half the day, maybe it's producing $0.40 in actuality. Now that can change pretty rapidly, it could go up, or down dramatically. Thanks

  @@adriftatlas Yes, you could run AI models on it. Interestingly the cryptos I mine right now are AI on blockchain, so compute jobs can be run on these blockchains, and it can use my GPU to power that job.

  I don't know if the AC200MAX does the PV Priority. I think the MAX is the older version, and I think the PV Priority feature is pretty recent.

  Thanks. As for getting into crypto mining, man It takes a lot of research, and it's risky. Also the profitability is very low to non-existent right now for most hardware that is in consumer reach. If you really want to play around, and learn you can grab a fairly recent GPU like a NVidia RTX3070 (there are newer ones available) and use something like nicehash.com. Nicehash has a profitability calculator so you can check if a GPU is any good for mining before you commit. Hope that helps! Oh, and be worry of scams, there are a lot of crypto scams.

  Brad, I brought 4 similar used batteries from Battery Hook Up, all had one cell bad and BMS failures. Actually I like that the cells that have bolts rather than being spot welded as the ones that I have, you can replace a bad cell more easily. Out of the four batteries I have, I can save three of them with some work and better BMS’s.

  If your order the DL24P electronic load tester directly from Atorch, it's around $33. Takes a while to ship but it's not $80 either. Shouldn't the BMS be doing a bit of balancing. Would it eventually even out or would it stay that way without intervention?

As for the BMS doing some balancing, from my experience they can help keep it in balance, but when the cells are this far out it's a real challenge. Now I have no clue about this particular BMS, maybe it's really good at balancing, and this would resolve on it's own in time. Thanks

  Thanks. Yes these balancers always work for me. EDIT: I just realized what you were asking LOL. I'm not sure if it went back out of balance, I guess I should have checked before I bolted it all back down. I might recheck the capacity in a few months.   Hey Brad, I notice the compressor cycles off only for a few minutes then back on. Seems it doesn’t stay off very long before coming back on. I also hear a popping noise like from temperature expansion. Have you notice anything like that with yours?

  Licitti prismatic cell question from very new solar person: I have already assembled the 280 Ah prismatic battery kit using 4 cells from Licitti but not charged it yet. I have seen and read where prismatic cells will swell once charged. The busbars I connected were snug/tight. Can I remove the busbars to drill them wider so when they do expand, they will have some give/slack?

  Well drilling wont help because they will be tightened down to the cell, so no expansion movement will be available. If you want the busbars to have some give, you'll just have to buy flexible ones, or the ones with the expansion hump. The other option is to build your own out of short lengths of wire, and wire lugs. Thanks
