She said she doesn’t like horses?
Love this video.
Powerful and beautiful art and words. I'm astounded by some of the harsh comments below ... probably from people who are fearful and just can't see or hear around that.
Such beautiful work and powerful narratives. Her extraordinary gift with art is equalled by her gift of speech ... confident and articulate 💖✨
Excellent video. This is the first time I have been attracted to her work. Don't know if I've changed or her work has changed. Also she is so articulate about the process and insights to creating art.
Love him
not buying that she doesnt use brushes sorry
The best
Hmm My life as an artist isn’t about work everyday, it’s about my soul
I Think, aí em Someone saying as an artist he/she Works everday its look like in many ways not only by one way.
Brilliant
Congratulations on the vision and creating a space to make art! My heart leapt to see this come full circle. You have inspired me to keep going as an artist. Your story and stamina is epic!! Blessings.
Very inspiring! <3

"I don't know, I can't even answer the question" ...proceeds to answer with a boss level insightful power move.
Lens cap... Lens cap is the easier way! 🤯
I adore him! I fan girled so much when I met him at my job years ago. He was there to see the alexander McQueen exhibit and expressed how much he loves his work.
power house. what a voice. what an eye. what an artist. thank you.
La photographie est portée à un niveau différent avec Sugimoto, c'est plus que de la photographie, c'est une empreinte unique. Il est insurpassable.
Uhm, whaaaaaat?
It's creatively reframing how we look at things. Another way to say it...if you're an artist you need to shift the perspective of how you look at your work. It's a way of challenging how we see the work (both the process of creating and the final piece), which leads to exploring different ways of making new artwork.
@@artfulescape Yeah I understand her ( or his honestly could not tell), they just don’t make sense. It’s like he/she is trying to make art have philosophy. And art is to realities for that. I am 43 years and I have been an artist for 35 years of that.
Thanks for keeping to traditional and ancestral. It’s the real thing, so important to keep it before it disappears…
wow -- the power of quiet craft w/ discerning eye
If you’re a BIPOC artist you better be talking about how the white man is keeping you down otherwise the art world won’t care about you
Amazing art!!!!
I think my unit is connecting to others
Her work seems sexually frustrated...??
She cant lift it...
Where's tony danza?
Amazing work
This resonates so deeply. Thanks.
Those califone record players are incredible. RIP eventworks.
in jenny we trust
The sequence drawings are amazing!
Kara will be in San Francisco 2024 exhibiting their work at SFMOMA. Wow...Can't wait
This resonated so heavily with me on this morning- incredible work, amazing insight and process descriptions- feel very inspired after watching- thank you.
There's fine art between genius and insanity.
SO good to hear & see this; thank you!
Love her sensibility. She's basically a decorative painter but takes it to another level with her variety of shapes and improvisational process.
Fascinating man, fascinating artist. Purely subjective but I'n not a fan of yellow, or red, or primary colors for that matter. The exploration of mid-tones is what I'm most interested though not in an impressionistic way but more for feeling and atmosphere. I feel I never quite get Tuttle but I'm always interested in seeing his work and love the notion of creating a middle ground between drawing and, not sculpture, but as Tuttle states, architecture.
TROUBLE!!!! <3
no
I enjoy her seemingly limitless concepts. Her use of red, or color in general, is also very effective
Really one of your best @Ian Forster. I can see the fruits of the 'wrestle' you describe in how to tell her story. Love her work and use of language - envagle is underused. Joel P's as good as ever. Good trouble all around @Art21org.
Yes, Joel Pickard's score for this was top notch! Just perfect
