So which Division are they referring to? Why didn’t they identify who they’re talking about? Very bad reporting! Sounds like they’re referring to the 9th Armored Division, 8th Corps, US Third Army. They were part of Operation Fortitude, the decoy army surrounding GS Patton in England that used inflatables. But the 9th wasn’t called “ghost army,” but the Phantom Division- a name coined by the Germans. The 9th Armored didn’t enter battle as a Division; different units of it were attached to other Divisions as needed. Consequently, the Germans encountered soldiers of the 9th Armored Division nearly everywhere they engaged and couldn’t understand why. Plus, the 9th AD was still in a “secret” status since its decoy operation in England. The US 9th Armored Division helped defend and hold St. Vith and Bastogne during the Ardennes Offensive- before the 101st and 82nd Airborne arrived- and suffered 50% casualties. Then they reformed and entered Germany, took and held the Ludendorff Bridge at Remagen- and suffered 50% casualties again! That’s the real story and it’s a fascinating one. Not the half-assed writing of this video clip. Somebody just didn’t want to do their homework, because the real story isn’t hard to find. The History of the Ninth Armored Division, the Phantom Division- at the US Army Museum and Library, at Carlisle, PA.

What about the United Indian army? They freed the entire Asia, Africa, Middle East and then Europe and then Churchill the racist terrorist sent them home allowed Soviet to take over half of Europe so he can create D-Day and all that garbage to show the world that white people freed the world. Never seen such pathetic people in my entire life. Shame shame

A great book on the UK side is "The War Magician", referring to a relative of Churchill who was a family "black sheep" for following his desire of being a magician and then recruited for the war effort

Often covert and irregular activities aren't acknowledged immediately after a conflict due to security and, after time, they can be forgotten. It took decades for the true work at Bletchley to be revealed and honoured.

Everything in life is relative. NBA is worse than Jack Welch and fires more than 10% of their players a year. And, they are out of the league. It's not that Steph made it to the NBA, but became the dude that changed how modern NBA operates on the court. Watch a game from the early 2000s and you can see how different spacing is on the court. Not recruited in college, almost traded away in 4th year in the NBA. He was one ankle injury away from being out of the league. Actual headline: "Stephen Curry Contract Extension Is Risky Business for Golden State Warriors". Everyone knew Lebron was going to be a phenom. Not so much for Steph. Kinda sad that people megaphone negative stories and can't celebrate uplifting ones.
