PBS News Weekly: Tensions grow as Biden pauses weapons shipment to Israel | May 10, 2024

Tensions between the U.S. and Israel grew this week after the Biden administration suspended the delivery of thousands of bombs to Israel. This comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to press on with a military operation into the southern Gazan city of Rafah.
In Gaza, our cameraman and producer Shams Odeh, has been documenting the conflict since the October 7 terrorist attacks. In a special report he shares the toll the conflict has taken on his own home and family.
Meanwhile in the U.S., our team of producers spoke with college students around the nation about the ongoing campus protests, the war in Israel and free speech rights.
