I have owned my 95 Mazda RX7 fd since I was 21. It's now my go to car when I'm going to the track and really plan on going 10/10ths. It now has a 20b single turbo. But till this day it turns heads, people think it's much newer than it is. When I tell them it's a 95 they are blown away. I also have a Porsche 911 997 turbo. But it does not compare to the feeling you get to driving the rx7 on the limit. Plus the steering feel, the shifter feel etc are far better in the rx7. The stigma of the engines not being reliable are from people not being knowledgeable enough on how to build the engine properly. People that complain about it not be fuel efficient...well you don't buy a track focused and sports car for fuel mileage...

Thanks for putting this together.🫡🙏 This car the W8 was/is my favourite car when i found out about it in the early 2000's which was way after i knew and loved the McLaren as my favourite. But still on that level for me. Its awesome i wish it were successful and ongoing. What a master piece just like the McLaren F1. I wish i could still get it. Replicated in all its originality.

How Porsche, not the husband and his insurance company or the culprit herself, ended up paying millions because some drunk incompetent and inexperienced show-off chick crashed this obscenely difficult to handle automobile is just beyond me. Just for reference I used to teach introductory wood, paint and metal shop courses for new students in an art university. Should something have happened the manufacturer of the equipment would've been the least liable unless irrefutably shown to be caused by product failure or defect. In this case the product was not defective, quite the opposite, and didn't fail before the driver did. Many students were quite well versed but some had no prior experience with shop tools, pressurized air or molten metal, etc. One foreign student barely in her 20's tried to wear huge pink manga-style wrist frills with her blue shop coveralls working on a planer and a table saw. It also turned out she wore a metal reinforced corset dress with more frills underneath. Of course I explained why it's not allowed but honestly it would've been much more memorable for her to see exactly why. She eventually fulfilled the formal requirements so I had to pass her and give her permission to use the shop, supervised, of course. I hoped she'd never enter the shop again because most likely I'd be held at least partly responsible for her any of her mistakes, even if caused by wrist frills. It's better to instill an overwhelming sense of fear and immediate risk of death on incompetent and unsuitable people than to let someone overestimate him/herself and disregard standard safety precautions. There are some things you can do only once; blind yourself arc welding, get strangled by rotating machinery, suffocate inhaling fibreglass filler or lift off in a corner in a 930 Turbo. I trust Assetto Corsa's modeling enough to say this is one wicked ride.

4:26 this entire section had one of the most mesmerising themes playing behind it and do I need to mention how my heart was roaring with every word? The music, the script and the imagery provided, combine together in such an artistic way that you would think that all this is the creation of another Pagani.

Ironically, the other greatest Porsche ever made, the 917, also almost killed the company in the process. My theory is that they hire warlocks alongside engineers so a blood sacrifice is needed for them to use their powers. You can't explain how magic Porsches are otherwise. I'm open to suggestions if you think this isn't plausible 😅
