  Mine cylinder 4 misfire was caused by my 02 censors on my exhaust. I just replaced the censors and converter myself

  i changed the o2 sensor, spark plug and ignition coil after i changed everything i manually cleared the code and it goes away for about 90 miles and then the light comes back on

  This company will install the FIXD PREMIUM for later charge you automatically from your account over $8 dollars monthly when you jus setting up the scanner and impossible to cancel. I had to contact PayPal to open a case, and resolved my problem with this funny company!!

  could also be low compression on that cylinder. if it's just a miss fire on one cylinder, it would not be a vacuum leak or bad fuel filter that would make a miss fire on all the cylinders, not just one. could also be a valve not seating completely, a bad lifter, or that cylinders rocker arm needing to be adjusted .

  Replaced all 4 spark plugs and coils. Had autozone reset the code. Drove 700 miles and now the damn P0302 code is back. Ugh!

  Mine was a map sensor and ignition module control.My check engine started blinking when i got to 60 on the highway and i felt some drop in power and the rpms went up and i had to press the gas more, after i finally got in town it started shaking like it was going to stall, i pulled over to a parking lot and restarted it and the second time it stalled.I called a tow. Thats my experience with PO 300 .05 Pontiac grand prix, runs like new again after that $750 fix.

  I still have a po302 after changing the sparkplugs and coil packs on my nissan pulsar 1.2 petrol 2016. Car drives fine for 5 minutes with a missfire then cuts out.

  You made no mention of actually cleaning the sensors, and cat. which you can do for 20 bucks and 80% of the time it corrects the issue. Don't tell me you've never heard of CATACLEAN?

  Well i have the P0300 and the P0122 code which is for the tps sensor which i replaced because it came with the new throttle body i just put on along with spark plugs wires coils 02 sensors map sensor iac valve air filter fuel filter and fuel pump. I have an 02 buick century with over 250,000 miles it idles low and high

  Problem with swaping coils is you have to take the intake off, and if you get it wrong, you got to do it all over again like I did

  So here's what I did, I swapped out the ignition coils from bank 1 and bank 2 clean them up with some brake cleaner and the cold went away. So is my problem my ignition coils? I already replaced the spark plugs and the control valve solenoids.

  I got this code on a Mazda 5 less than two weeks after it had been serviced. I found something online and sure enough the tech must have opened the air filter housing to check it and didn't get the entire housing back in its proper place. After making sure everything was secure and clearing the code it has been fine. I check gas mileage every fillup and as long as the car is running fine these codes can be bullsh*t. Another money grab to get you to come in to pay $150 for the dealer to read the codes.

  Where Ami’s that Simple Fix you promoted with the title of this video.. and every other cylinder video which Btw Are all THE Exact SAME VIDEOs!! Wtf. How annoying and to be straight with you insulting.. as I didn’t hear any simple quick fixes. But a laundry list of somewhat difficult system checks which specialized tools are needed along with the experienced eye of a seasoned mechanic to point out the subtleties of the operation performed and what they are telling him about the misfires and there root causes.

  Replaced all 4 plugs on my 2016 Hyundai Elantra. Still getting the code. They still needed changing though. Saw a thing on another video. Get a low voltage pen. $15 at a hardware store. Touch it to the coil while the engine is running. If the light doesn't come on it's bad.

  hey fixd, will your code reader tell you why the code is present? meaning, can it tell you a wire is broken, sensor failed, etc? can it also tell you that the vehicle has been in an accident that wasn't reported to insurance?

  I have a jeep patriot 2010. Showing some strange lights on the dashboard, which was, """throttle body problem and stability control indicator""" which i knew bfr buying FIXD. After all minutes of scanning and diagnosed it could not it could not help to fixed the problem and not clear all the error lights.
