GH4 is still a solid camera in 2024. It has an advantage with the extra 4K crop at the tele end. I have always thought that the best results from cameras come from people who work within limitations, and many of us still prefer to work with slower cinematic frame rates. For an Indie creative person on a budget the GH4 is a great choice.

I see, so your passion for filmmaking was linked, chained, glued to the gear, not to what you want to say. Of course a new toy is going to create some new illusion, for a while. I'll watched Death and the Maiden, or Duel if they were shot in VHS, go ahead shoot Barbie with the Sony Venice or in 35 mm and I'll pass.
