I agree on maxing out at 2000 ISO. I have noticed anything above that introduces noise on the GH6. I recently added a Neweer "Lumecube" style light to help combat some of the darkness. Thanks for the tips Ryan!
I agree, when I had Gh5 I loved CinelikeD. I always thought it was perfect in low light ( I used 80% of the time lumix lens 12-35 2.8)

One thing to keep in mind is that both 400 and 2500 are native ISO numbers, so possibly going to 2500 is better than 2000? Have you tried any experiments on that?
doesn't dynamic boost automatically use iso 2000? What fast lens do you use?
This is a very good Camera :) Still not a good Low Light Camera in my opinion. But goog enough for many usecases. I know many people will say it a FullFrame sensor will be way better for low light :) A Lumix S5 or s1h can give you much better results even on ISO 20.000. BUt the gh6 is so light and cool :) The codecs are amazing
Yo Ryan, i'm heading to Japan in 2 weeks and I THINK that was TOKYO? What lens did you use mostly at night and did you use any ND or blackmist filters? Going to try Cinelike D for the 1st time (ive been on Natural for most of my hobby shooting). Thanks in advance!
