Originally from New York, I relocated my family to South Florida 18 years ago.
Knowing that we wanted to live in Florida but not where exactly, we did a thorough investigation of the entire State and considered ourselves fortunate that we decided on the exact right place for us.... South Florida.
South Florida has captivated me from my first visit, and eighteen years ago I rearranged my life to live and work here. I love its small town feel combined with its big city sophistication, its beaches, mix of people, and all this paradise has to offer. Every time I drive around to show houses, I think how beautiful this area is, and how lucky I am to live here. The quality of life is extraordinary, and I take immense pride in serving this unique community.

I currently live in Boston and have been looking a lot in West Palm Beach to potentially buy a winter home. I've spent a lot of time there over the past couple years during the winter and love it. The problem is I don't really like the real estate there. The condos feel like white boxes - not very homey. There are almost no townhouses for sale in all of West Palm either in the under $1 millon price range. I think I may have to end up going to Palm Beach gardens to get the type of property I'm looking for (ideally a townhouse that feels like an actual home) but I think of Palm Beach gardens as more of a retirement community. I am 47 and single and would like to be around more of a social atmosphere. What do you think?

To the local people... I am doing research and looking for guidance. My wife and I are considering moving here part time. We are from Texas and plan to keep our home here, as I have a business and our families live here. We own a lot of land here in Texas and Loxahatchee is one of the few southern Florida areas where it seems possible to own an acre or two of land, as we don't care for neighbors living 5 feet from us, but also want to be close enough to beaches, food, fun activities. We are in our 40's and looking for honest input, advice, or suggestions. We are used to the heat (Texas stays in the 100's a lot) and we also have plenty of bugs here as well. What else can anyone tell us that may be helpful? Thanks so much for any input or advice!

I love the Pier in Lake Worth, I fish there whenever the bait are running. For great parking price, go to the Pier side and pay $5 for 4hours of parking, you'll have to park at the bottom parking areas, it's worth it in my opinion 👌🏿💯⚡

Del Webb Twin Lakes St Cloud, FL a gated 55 and older community where they opened the gates for open house because the builder is more interested in making money than the safety of the residents. If anyone can drive in it defeats the safety the gates provide. This despite there being a sales office just outside the gates

My parents and I lived in a 55+ mobile home park in California for years. I ALMOST got kicked out as I was 28 at the time & one of my parents was 56? then. We were able to get a clearance for me in the "grandfather" clause because we were a family.
In 55+ communities you really need to watch out for their rules! Great to have you to our channel 😊
