They are NOTHING but, Low life SCUMBAG THIEVES!!!! £159 WHAT A BLOODY RIP OFF!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡 & it goes ups every year by about £5 or per household or person. For what a right load 🐃💩& BORING 💩 everyday & night. MOST of the time. Very rare do we get anything decent on it. I have NEVER!!! bought one & i don't intend to start now. & if anyone thinks these SCUM!!! can force you to get one think again THEY CAN'T!!! if you don't give them any personal details ( your name) & you certainly do NOT!!! let them in & keep your windows covered thick curtains or blinds or better still BOTH!!! & ALWAYS video them as to what they say & do & try to get their vehicle reg colour make & model as these are NEVER!!! insured for their work only personal use. So, their vehicle they are driving about in is NOT LEGAL & insurance is INVALID!!!! & always send them packing with their tails between them. ( if possible).

They can't detect a signal from your TV, as a TV only receives signals and does not send them.

If you don't need a licence, why are they keeping records. If you have never held a driving licence DVLA have no record of you, so why is BBC an exception?

With the whole warrants deal, I learned not only does take up police services which are funded by the public, but also a lot of time for a judge to sign off and if he is convinced its legit enough to sign.

But to be Subjected to a Legal Statute, One has to be a Legal Entity and not a Sovereign Human Being. I have not watched Tv ( live Broadcast Tv ) for over five years and i feel far better informed by watching the alternative Media on the Internet . This Tv Licence fee is to pay for the propaganda of the UK Govt opinions and instead of putting the BBC on Subscription ,the regime think it is easier to force us to give them cash using this Bs excuse of " Legal permission " Tome to end this garbage as it is a leftover from the 1950's when there was only the BBC broadcasting .

look up the price of a 4K telly which ever size, and compare the price of a 4K monitor its a fraction of the cost, no smart rubbish and no aerial socket, not reported to TV Licencing. better all around

Guv.co.uk. states clearly that you do not need a licence "if you do not WATCH live TV, or the BBC." Nothing about whether or not your equipment is capable of receiving live TV. Sounds as if they are twisting the wording to convince folk they need a licence when they do not.

How the hell do they know what you purchased at the store???? Do they get to look at your finances and bank statements of what money you spend?? Do the stores report to the BBC who buys electronics? You guys need to bring back gun ownership as a right to fight this kind of tyranny, you are just a few steps away from full blown communism.

I hate to see the people in the UK not having free speech or much of any other natural born rights. In the US there would have been a federal lawsuit against the people who tried to violate those rights. Photography is not a Crime.

Ok for individual devices which is connected up into your property Those devices are connected to online server Including or mobile which is directly a contract or a pay-as-you-go These items which is connected to the internet server or connected to a server signal link They have the rights to do a search or coming to your door so if you're private or you're a homeowner or you are a council of the property which you are living in you have to pay for the TV licence Because all your devices are connected up to a online server All they have to do is do a search warrant or get a warrant to go into the premises and all they have to do is typing your Google search the BBC search engine which is on your mobile device or any particular kind of device which is connected up to online server and then they will have you Declaring that you are receiving a reception from the BBC

I have never paid for one of these daylight robberies EVER!!! & will continue not to do so & that was over 45+ years ago. & i most certainly will tell them where to go in not so many words or many as the case maybe. Either way i am definitely not at all polite to them The last one ( some old hag ) i told ther to F.OFF very directly & told her to get off my pathway as it was considered trespassing. & i even threatened to throw bioling hot water over her. that's how far i am willing to go & more if necessary. There is absolutely no way they get onto my property not even past the front gate. I make them feel scared very scared of me & it works 😁😁😁😁

If you aren’t doing anything wrong or covert how can a ‘public authority’ possibly object to filming of a meeting that is open to the general public? Or even require prior permission? Surely in law it is not Private Property, the premises are publicly owned.

How can ya trust info from a video with two spelling mistakes in the first sentence. Especially when the first misspelled word is license, which should in fact say TV Licensing! License is a verb. Licence is a noun. TV Licensing are the people who issue TV licences, and thus granting you license (permission) to hold a TV licence (a piece of paper confirming you are now permitted to do what you could now without the licence). I know it’s a common mistake but ffs, if it’s the topic of the video, couldn’t you at least attempt to seem a reliable source?

But why are you talking to them at all? It's just a waste of time, and getting you stressed. Just . . . Don't speak to anyone at all. Don't let anyone in. If you happen to open the door to a goon, simply politely say 'No thank you' and shut it in front of them.

Do wonder how the data protection act treats a company providing personal information (address details) to a third party if that person does not give explicit consent to do so. Assume the retailer must obtain that consent as part of sale process?

Load of bull about they ask “do you receive a live broadcast”. They come around and first thing they ask “do you HAVE a tv” and most times if you answer yes they will assume automatically that you watch live tv. Some even don’t know their own rules and think you need a licence just for owning a tv. I’ve contacted them only once 4 years ago and my situation still hasn’t changed. I’m still smart enough to not lower myself to watch tv.
