Can we get a review on the ASP3 gearbox? Not many people have it
Shorter gears, LSD, makes the car much more responsive. Makes the car completely different in a great way.
@@blipshiftapex9047 make a video about it
ASP3 is a HUGE upgrade however looking back I think I would’ve just got an 8th gen si trans and swapped the gears as it would’ve been cheaper
@@mailtsauce there is nothing much more to say about it. What I stated really sums it up.
@@etwoodson213 it would have been cheaper if you do the labor yourself and used "used" parts. Also in the end you would have shot yourself in the foot because the stock magnesium transmission of the TSX is trash when it comes to doing anything motorsports related. The main bearing inside wears down the case and eventually it fails when pushed hard.
Ah yes. The Power of Dreams.
If a K series swap kit were made for a B13, I'd happily buy one. Just saying.....
Well then you better buy one because the saw has already been done and is slowly being done more and more here in the states.
Done all the time in Jamaica
@@jmarquis68 this is where I am seeing them much more regularly.
Never let the SR20 die, keep a Nissan a Nissan
@@billyjack5957 damn right
Do you think you could make a mod guide for a second gen tsx?
Unfortunately I don't own a CU2 Second gen TSX.
@@blipshiftapex9047 I love your TSX Mr.BlipShift. I knew before the pulls you had around 200-205hp judging your ft.lb of torque. Nice Ride man.
@@keep_it_low_bro thank you. Much appreciated!
Hey hope your not thinking of putting K in that Sentra
Absolutely not! Only if it was a full track car I didn't care about but even then I probably wouldn't.
I wonder how much HP my '06 TSX has. It currently has 445,000km and is stock.
Never hurts to find out.
@@blipshiftapex9047 through dyno test?
@@blipshiftapex9047 I am more interested in maximizing the mileage than HP. If it lasts to 1 million km, that would be ideal 😁
@@ronlam3654 well Dyno'ing is not all about horsepower. It really gives you a health status check as well.
Tsuru tuniado❤
Would this work on a 2nd generation tsx CU2 ?
I don't have a CU2.
I understand that. was just wondering if anyone knows if this is applicable for the 2nd gen as well or if they’re designed differently, can’t seem to find much on the cu2 about bb upgrade that’s not 2k
@@teedad I don't believe there is a transmission upgrade for the CU2. I don't believe the casing would fit in the CU2 either. But I do know Spoon Sports raced a CU2. The stock transmission in that may have had an LSD upgrade but I wouldn't know for sure.
I do have a hood but I’m in Spokane
Thanks for the offer. The hood has been found. Check out the following episode for the current status of the car.
Sorry I realized after sending this your post was very old ! I am still planning on putting a Subaru scoop on this
Bro you should set up a Se-R cars and coffee in like early summer
Might be worth doing if i am not so busy on a regular basis.
What size hub centric rings did you use? The link in description doesn’t take me to them. 🤔
Contact Brian at Fastbrakes.com for the rings needed for the rotors.
Guessing the purchase price was $3000. I am impressed with your motivation to purchase a high mileage Nissan Sentra. SE -R. It does not motivate me to buy the same model, Nissan Sentra because I don’t have the skill to make all the engine modifications that raise the horsepower rating higher than 140. Hypothetically, If I did buy one, it’ll probably be a later model, Sentra, SER Spec -V that already has the 175 hp in line four.
The beauty of these cars is that 140hp is more than enough for you to enjoy the driving experience of it.
Do you know the specs on your wheels I’m trying to do this upgrade but having a hard time finding out what wheels are good to use without a spacer
It will differ between styles of wheel and back spacing. Mine are 17x9 +49
How would I find that header?
I posted the information and stated the maker of the header is not easy to get a hold of any longer
