Interesting movie , told brother against brother , Crazy and the leeches get rich from both sides . Damn. nobody so-called wins like they think . Upton Sinclair 's book "The Jungle " sums it up for me.

The first time saw this movie i was 8, and it scared the crap out of me, for the longest time i had a fear of the dark because of these machines, but i developed a huge interest in the novel as well as the movie and was able to conquer that fear

I liked it when they jump in the lake to escape the death ray and moments later when she climbs into the airplane her hair and frock dress are all dried out. Fun movie all the same.

These films illustrate perfectly what is wrong with current teaching methods. Back then, the complexities of the world were broken down through metaphor and analogy. Now, simple topics are made more complicated so to make the instructors look more impressive. They dumb it down if trying to teach something complex, leaving out salient points along the way.

I recall this very well back in 1970. I remember the birds beginning to chirp as it became dark. and....NO TRAFFIC jams. Just a peaceful, natural event.
