Two things… 1. is the only time you get give feedback is during a performance review? Why wait till then. 2. What about when you give feedback to people who feel like they should be in your position and they absolutely ignore it or disregard it?

This is true reminds me of "Social Awareness in emotional intelligence " reading the room and understanding the motives of others make a world of difference to the organizational culture. I found what you said in LAI "The Great Resignation and the War for Talent" I get her message and is simple to understand when you are a "conscious leader " everything aligns to leadership models and its knowledge when you have a purpose and know who you are , so it becomes easier in how to implement practice to support these "talent ecosystems " because it all starts with you as a leader , and not only the top leaders but also the ones on the ground are valuable leaders. (not just anyone is able to recognize that) On the other hand she says "you can't see in someone else what you cant see in yourself" in other words , how could you give something you don't have-- literally there's nothing to give but an empty cup! I ran into you by researching best leaders to complete a school project in "Women in Leadership " I definitely love your strategy message thank you ! I am as well conscious driven leader includes spirituality, mind and body. I watch Gaia. Your connection to consciousness in terms of leadership is the perfect solution to lead with purpose !

I had one female boss. She was very low down, low end....jealous for no reason, and vicious. I was very kind and generous to both, her, and her children. She was a single mother. I felt for her, and only wanted to support her position, had no intentions of upgrading at that company whatsoever. I was always picking up the slack for her. I would fill in....while she was away. I would take it upon myself to make sure that we had all the necessary tools needed to operate seamlessly..... While she was busy trying to promote herself, which included terrorizing the staff, and...sleeping with service personnel, as well as some of the customers.... She would get jealous when customers would refer to me as the manager. She would go Berzerk....Her demeanor was deplorable...yelling...screaming....throwing her weight around with some of the customers. The ways in which she treated me...never mind my other co-workers..was disgusting. It was of no surprise...that no one liked her, nor trusted her. We all walked on eggshells. She also had a boatload of poor reviews from customers, that were rightly deserved. One morning I walked in to cover my shift, and I was asked...why I was there. She had suspended me for god knows what, but for pure evil and jealousy. I was fortunate enough to already have had another job, where they increased my hours, my pay, and my title. I will forever be grateful for the good people in the world. A few years out, I bumped into someone from the old job who told me that she had been fired for stealing, etc. Sorry, but I was thrilled. A former co-worker...from out of the country...who would've had no chance in hell for a promotion, with the way things were at the time...she actually looked so sad, and and fearful, when I put in my resignation. I understood completely, and felt bad, but I had no choice but to exit.....was promoted to manager. I was super-thrilled!! Karma...had done its thing!!

I just left a job that I’d only be in 7 weeks. Coworkers were rude and wouldn’t speak supervisor was nonexistent. However the low pay should have been a tip off . I’ll work at Starbucks instead . I’m 57 and don’t put up with as much shit as I use to. The fact is a job is a job is a job and there are millions of them out there.

Ugh, this was a toxic message! Just find another job. Don’t try to fix an organization if it’s broken, dysfunctional, toxic, and not serving you. It’s not “your” business, you don’t own the company. Most oftentimes, the people who were in charge of the decision do not respect you. Why try to make the company better when people don’t care about you? No thanks. Find something else! There are better options like working with small business owners or starting your own business.

Thank you for creating and sharing this thoughtful and reflective video. Your articulate delivery and insightful message resonated with me. It’s rare to find content that engages the mind and invites a moment of introspection and self-reflection. Your words provided a confident look inward, prompting me to think more deeply about the topic you discussed. I appreciate the professional yet kind tone you maintained throughout the video. It felt almost personal as if you were speaking directly to me, which kept me fully engaged and interested in hearing more. Your ability to convey complex ideas in an accessible and relatable manner is commendable. I'm looking forward to more of your thought-provoking content.

I can understand the spoils system for political cabinets, but it sickens me when they expand that broadly to the general civil service system of the rank and file, which is supposed to be 100% merit-based by design in a modern democratic republic style of government. It seems like more and more people are trying to degrade the system into nobility and monarchy, which is the very kind of thing this nation was founded on abolishing.

Tip: some employees may "isolate" simply because they are introverts... be careful not to Pathologize that behavior too generally...or you risk actually burning them out through forced fun/ supplemental socialization beyond the functions of getting their job done.
