  Manila Esposito from Italy is also a great candidate on beam, she just won the European gold medal with a very high score, 14.400. She might surprise everyone.

  Maybe Georgia Mae-Fenton and Kaylia Neymour if they perform a good competition. In no case I would mention Rebecca Downie, for she is uneven bars specialist. It will be a real surprise if any other gymnast reaches or approaches the podium.

  Well, I would also mention Alice Kingsella. I wouldn't mention the Gadirova twins, Szofia Kovacs, Elizabeth Seitz and Nina Derwael. Their participation is unknown and, in any case, all depends on how they recover from their injuries. Furthermore, nations with the entire team will logically register gymnasts to compete on the four apparatus.

  I think the medals will be between Simone Biles, Rebeca Andrade and Shilese Jones. What happened to Simone Biles in Tokyo, the way she has been performing since she returned, means that she is not unbeatable. Rebeca Andrade could perfectly be olimpic champion if she does a good competition and Simone Biles doesn't. She should be care with the yurchenko double pike, not even men park this vault correctly. I only see the bronze medal for Shilese Jones, except in case of very obvious failures of Simone Biles or Rebeca Andrade. Near the podium I would mention Elsabeth Black, Alice D'Amato, Manila Exposito, Flavia Saraiva, Melanie de Jesus Dos Santos, the two chinese if they perform a good competition, one japanese and Eythora Thorsdottir. Sabrina Maneca-Voinea is having her moment in Los Angeles 2028, though she could get a good chance in Paris 2024 depending on her performance, she has three high difficult scores.

  If anything the way she has performed SINCE her return should tell you that Simone IS unbeatable unless she really has another case of the 'twisties' or is injured. If the REIGNING WC AA winner could not beat Simone when she had ONLY returned to international competition after TWO WHOLE YEARS and no where near her difficulty and stamina level, what makes you think anyone else stands a chance otherwise? As I said after World's last year, THAT was the competition to get one up on Simone, when she had just returned, not yet near her optimum.

  I have the same predicted US team of Simone, shi, suni, jade, and Leanne! However my asterisk would be different! If Leanne doesn’t hit all her routines at trials I’d say Kayla dicello is most likely to take her spot, and I’d also give suni an asterisk and say if she doesn’t appear to get back a lot of consistency and difficulty she has before (with an emphasis on bars and beam), I think that’s the spot skye would potentially take!

  I agree with most of your picks. On floor, i don't see Biles winning gold. I think the vault finals should be interesting. So many are wonderful vaulters. On bars, i was delighted to see you have the Algerian earning silver. I don't know her name, but the first time i saw her do bars, i was like that's beautiful and will be first women's gymnast from Africa to medal on bars at the Olympics. She is so precise with her positions and doesn't thrown mediocre skills just to crank up the difficulty.

  Yes, missing the grace in gymnastics. The circus people can also do this high level of athleticism. It's getting boring, uninteresting when gymnasts display only power. Grace in addition to power is what makes a gymnast complete. Unfortunately, besides Romania and Russia, it seems that no one is capable of bringing that level of grace and artistry to gymnastics anymore.

  I lived through both the 1980 and 1984 Olympics. I can honestly tell you that just because a certain country isn't there does not mean the other athletes feel they have been handed a chocolate medal! Competition has always been tough. Russia needs to stop drugging its athletes and pull out of the wars they start. Meanwhile, Romania is paying the price, just like the US did, because they allowed the state led by the Karolyis to mistreat their gymnasts. I visited Romania a few years back and NO parents really want their kids to go into sport because the parents see how broken their kids came back AND the fact many didn't get grandchildren from the medalists brought that lesson home to the present crop of parents.

  She doesn’t stand a chance against the Chinese girls if they hit the routines. Simone can’t get even close to 7.2 difficulty while her execution is way worse than the Chinese girls. However the Chinese girls have more skills in their routines (with mount and dismount they actually have a total of 18 skills performing) which makes them more prone to doing a fatal mistake, while Simone has fewer skills. She will need to go full strength using even her named dismount and hit it without mistakes to get to the podium, hoping that both Chinese girls with fυck it up in order to get the gold.

  @@kevinpeterwilson5607 First if all Simone has never beaten Qiyuan on beam since they have never competed on beam against each other. Secondly yes she beat Yaqin in Antwerp last year, but Yaqin has not a D-value of 7.2 while in Antwerp her D-value was only 6.5 points. So get your facts a bit straighter here. Also Yaqin lost with just 0.1 points while she did a significant mistake which cost her -0.3 points while dismounting. Otherwise she would have won.

  Minhas considerações: não vejo a Simone com o bronze na trave. Seriam três bronzes na trave em olimpíadas. Acho muito difícil pelas probabilidades... A Sunisa se for, vai como especialista. Não vejo ela na Equipe. Muito menos a Gabby. Acho que a Itália fica com a prata na TF e China com o bronze. Talvez o BRA com o bronze... A Jade não ganha o bronze no salto nem a pau! É da coreana. No AA, o ouro e prata ficam com Simone e Rebeca. A maior candidata ao branze é a Shi. Não vejo a chinesa com dois ouros (trave e barras). Em alguma das duas finais ela vai ter algum erro ou até mesmo uma queda. No solo a Flavinha não ganha o bronze. A Rebeca não vai sair das olímpiadas com 4 pratas. Uma será ouro ou bronze.

  Se a Flávia não pega o bronze ele seria de quem então? Ela só perde se errar, porque com essa nova coreografia e música se ela acertar a série mais difícil vai levar o ginásio a baixo e dificilmente faz menos de 14.000, nota que outras não estão conseguindo atualmente fora Simone e Rebeca.

  @@776alpha677betaa questão é que a Jade não tem um bom artístico, e atualmente esse requisito é muito relevante pra somatória da nota no solo, por outro lado a Flávia é a melhor nesse quesito. Jade mesmo com uma série muito difícil não consegue fazer mais de 14+, por outro lado a Flávia se acertar a série mais difícil consegue.

  I'm sorry but that is not a prediction much less a premonition but simply belching out the 2023 Worlds results with Jade Carey thrown in and France without a medal. Never underestimate the home crowd support for a team... Everyone knows perfectly well how the Chinese balk since 2008...so do some real research into the results at different World Cups and Europeans as well as increased difficulty in each athletes routines and their health...Great Britain is out of the medal possibilities as well as Italy most likely, so the only contenders behind the USA are Brazil, France and China...

  I actually see Simone winning the vault title because Cecile did say in an interview that she is willing to do the biles two without Laurent spotting her. She actually has 4 vaults that she’s training and 2 of them are the biles vaults.

  A few notes: ▶️ Yihan is basically a lock on the CHN Team. She can contribute more than Qingying (has a DTT!!!) and is definitely a contender for UB bronze if she hits. ▶️ Leanne will need A LOT in order to make the team. She isn’t useful ANYWHERE unless she upgrades considerably. Kayla has more chances than her atm. ▶️ There are some changes in the AA programs from last year’s world AA medalists. You simply put from the D score from worlds eventho there WILL BE SOME UPGRADES. Kinda nonsense honestly. Rebe’s wolf turn and bb upgrade, Shi’s capucciti and bb upgrade, Simone’s potential upgrades on UB, BB and FX (already saw one 👀)… Even the “potential scores” are off. ▶️ Nemour only has a 7.2 bars if her half turn gets credit, which most likely won’t happen. Yihan, Melanie and Rebeca are names who have more chances to qualify to UB EF than Downie and Nina. ▶️ THE REIGNING OLYMPIC CHAMP ON FX will be definitely a top contender for a medal on fx if she makes it. Melanie also has more chances than Manila and Sabrina. ▶️ GBR won’t be a contender in TF like Italy or France.

  Acho que a prata por equipes fica com a China. O Bronze que será bem disputado e se o Brasil for assertivo, ganha. A trave eu acho cedo pra dizer que a Biles não nao ganha, pq ela tem um trunfo na manga e sua consistência. Lembrando que, se ela tivesse feito a trave que ela fez em 2023 nas Olimpíadas ela ganhava, pq a China tem muitos descontos de execução. Ela foi bronze em Tokio pelos motivos que todo mundo sabe e foi grande coisa mesmo assim. Eu não acho que o Brasil vai repetir os pódios do Mundial, pq muitas ginastas não foram nele. Esse bronze no solo da Flávia é muito precipitado. Mas na torcida.

  @@claytonneri8356 Nossa, muitas. A Vanessa Ferrari e a da Grã-Bretanha, que eu esqueci o nome kk não competiram ano passado. A Vanessa, inclusive, foi prata em Tokio. A da Grã-Bretanha lesionou no salto no Mundial, por isso não competiu a final de solo. As próprias americanas, como a Jade Carey, que foi ouro em Tokio. Podem ir pra final duas americanas, então aí já é um páreo alto. Tudo vai depender de quem vai pras olimpíadas mesmo. Esse vídeo é apenas uma previsão com base no Mundial de 2023 e conta com a trave chinesa do campeão nacional deste ano. Então, assim, a Flávia precisaria de mais dificuldade e consistência para brigar pelo bronze. Maaaaas, tudo é possível. Até às chinesas mesmo podem brigar pelo bronze. E não sei a condição da Rússia para ir às Olimpíadas. Acho que as ginastas não vão nem como autônomas. Parece que não foram classificadas.

  @@erick_yuri a Jessica Gadirova da GB já tá confirmado que não vai! ela não se recupera a tempo, a Jade é uma forte candidata porque ela tem bastante potência porém ela tem muito desconto no artístico e a Vanessa ninguém sabe como tá o nível de ginástica dela até porque ela não competiu nesse ciclo e ela já tem 33 anos não que idade seja um problema Jade Barbosa está ai para provar, mas já dificulta, sem contar que nem sabemos se ela realmente vai fazer parte da equipe italiana. Na minha opinião, a única real ameaça é a Sabrina Voinea por que ela usa bastante dificuldade e ficou em 4° ano passado, porém no campeonato europeu ela tirou 13,700 contra 13,900 da Flávia que ela costuma tirar

  @@claytonneri8356 Não sabia da Jéssica. Então, tem algumas ginastas que podem surpreender e sinceramente, para o 3o lugar tudo é possível. A maior adversária da Flávia é ela mesma, então vai ter que evitar os mesmos erros como, pernas afastadas no DL, chegada baixa no DP. Aaah, até as próprias brasileiras podem brigar, né. Jade e Júlia. Elas têm surpreendido. Realmente, a Sabrina pode pegar o bronze. Imagino que ela tenha corrigido os erros que ela cometeu no Mundial. De qualquer forma, acho que nunca esteve tão imprevisível o cenário da ginástica artística feminina nas Olimpíadas. Será muito interessante!

  @@KaiOpaka We should have a better picture at classics. I don't expect them to show everything then but definitely enough for us to gauge better who has the REAL potential to make the team. We have not seen a PEEP from Jordan nor Simone six months now, so one cannot tell what to expect. I just know that every WAG ( except Simone of course) will have to have some serious upgrades if they seriously want to contend for a spot on the team.
