    Is there a way to deactivate the alert that always appears when you start the vehicle? Ito gotten annoying.

    Ok, I didn't know about the 20% on the preconditioning, nor that it only is for the L3 fast charging. Also, the filter on navigation. Nice. Thanks. I do find that using the onboard navigation for chargers is less effective in Canada. It will send you places that actually doesn't have chargers.

    its your 12 volt battery. i used to have this problem when i was a EV noob. I used to sit in my car with the ac on and music on for a very long time during break at work. it discharged the small battery. You need to carry a 12V Car Jump Starter. They are cheap on amazon.

    1:40 Just under the part they replaced, the two panels do not line up. At least the front panel is out further (less drag)

    Where the fees not known to you prior to buying the EV? In Ohio it’s $200 a year plus standard fees. Good luck.

    Huh. That's weird about the charge port door. Welp… things can break, but I'm glad they fixed it for you! That's great, compared to when the HP Battery PCS started to break down in my previous Model 3, as Tesla refused to cover it under the battery warranty. That cost me $2K. Ugh. I've gotta say: not holding my breath about the J3400 transition -not after E'loon fired the Supercharger senior director and her team. Y'know what I wish Hyundai would do in a new software update? Make it possible to leave i-Pedal ON, rather than have to reset it every time I start the car.

    Too bad you did not read the car’s manual that has instructions as to emergency opening of the charging port/emergency disconnect charging plug.

    I'm wondering what would happen when Hyundai decides to stop updating the maps. Will the information about chargers location be outdated and the car becomes a waste then?

    Hyundai should have warranted your battery. They have had many problems with their 12 volt batteries.

    I got a no deductible policy for my windshield after it last cracked and I think it’s well worth it. Since I got it I’ve had no more cracks so it’s doing a great job of protecting the windshield. It’s quite cheap and now when I hear something hit the windshield it does’t fill me with dread. So worth the peace of mind. Sorry to hear about the chargeport door. I like the simple operation compared to some others so I was hoping it would be pretty bulletproof. I’ve got a basic no frills one on my PHEV the you just push on and it pops open by a spring. Not cool or interesting, but my guess is it will last forever.

    If it was a recall you would've gotten a notice mailed to you. Does Hyundai require you to pay for a service periodic to keep your warranty valid, I've heard that a $600 infection is required every 15k miles?

    For "Carwash mode" you don't have to change anything regarding the regenn. Just disable auto hold, get it in neutral.

  • @hurcane
    @hurcaneАй бұрын

    Additionally, If you have to exit the vehicle for the car wash, holding the OK button is necessary. Otherwise, the car will shift to park when the door is opened. If you stay in the car, you don’t need to hold the button. Just shift to neutral and enjoy the ride.

    Hey Carlos Great review...we have 54000km on our Ioniq5 which we picked up June 29 2023. We have had 0 issues, none, has been an awesome car. Love it! Just so you know (probably do anyway) you can fire up the seat heat with voice commands which is convenient when driving. Fantastic car, our previuos EV was a Hyundai Kona which we road tripped everywhere and it was again solid and totally reliable. Our I5's longest road trip was a 14,648km 43 day trip last fall and it never missed beat! We also have a 2017 Nissan Leaf that we use as a grocery getter and again an absolute great little EV! Enjoy that I5 - they are an awesome car! Cheers Mike and Ally 👍

    What exactly do you believe the software is lacking in terms of features compared to other cars? Also which app do you believe is better? Because I often hear people complain about that, but then there is virtually no car out there with a more advanced software. It just doesn't look particularly fancy.
