One of the similarities between the EU and ASEAN is that they are both visited and filled with South Asians (India, Tamil, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka) who change the characteristics of the people in both organizations.

ASEAN military as a whole has little to no offensive capability due to our foreign policies, political ideology, high level of corruption in many areas (with exceptions of course), and just having smaller economies to afford such weapons to begin with. But I wouldn't say that EU would win despite having economic, technological, and strategic advantage against ASEAN. I don't think even EU can solve the logictical challenges of invading ASEAN, landing operations are one thing but supporting the troops further in land without local support would be near impossible. This is also the same reason why the US island hopping campaign dyrung WW2 was quite successful, the US has local support in many islands while the Japanese don't. And by the time the US reached islands like Iwo Jima and Okinawa is when their fortune is swapped because the Japanese have local support this time.

They both cover up there blind spots asean is a defensive while the EU is the offensive and yes I know both are peaceful but to full potential asean is better at defense then offense and the same goes with the EU b it vice versa plus EU is more active then ASEAN so if h th ey both fight EU would win the base form (current form if you don’t know) but if both at full potential ASEAN increases the chances to win but still a slim due to the scale being vaporized by nukes but there’s too much things to talk about but if allies not in the groups (like Russia and the USA and China as they don’t contribute that much to both groups USA has contributed but is gonna be neutral) asean would win due to its superiority as in its continent is powerful as ASEAN has good relations with Russia China and the USA but tho I gonna be yapping so tell me if I should explain more

West Papua is a victim of OUR governments and ongoing illegal conduct of UN employees. Because the UN Secretary General had been killed and replaced by Indonesia's Burmese friend U Thant, on 21st September 1962 our governments voted to give the new UN Secretary General U Thant permission to invade West Papua and appoint Indonesia as the current administrator. Our governments were using article 85 part 1 of the UN Charter to authorise this; article 85 part 2 requires that the Secretary General tell the UN Trusteeship Council about the trusteeship agreement ('New York Agreement') so that the Council can then begin its article 87 & 88 duties making yearly UN reports to protect & promote independence of the colony (West Papua). Um, also, the reason why Japan easily occupied most of South East Asia was because most of them were colonies of the Allies, some of which has capitulated to Germany (e.g. France and the Netherlands). French Indochina, British Malaya, Dutch East Indies, Burma in the British Raj, etc... And Siam was a Japanese ally. So yeah.
